12 months out! FINALLY
krissyphd replied to shelly513's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
You look great, I'm almost 7 months out and as of this morning, I'm down 78 pounds! I was wishing it was more but I'm happy every week the scale goes down! Even if it's a little bit! Before surgery, the scale was always going up! You are beautiful, you were before! -
Is there anything more depressing...

Another product that works great is Nioxin. Your hair dresser can buy it for you. It is a shampoo, conditioner and a leave in spray! I've been having great results with it!!! Give it a try! I also continue to take Biotin! -
Low priced, high protein shake I've found post gastric sleeve
krissyphd replied to Julie K. Brown's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I just ordered 1 set as well! I'm hoping they taste good! That's a lot of protein! I'm 20 weeks out, but there are days, I don't get enough protein still! -
I have blue cross and it literally took one week to get approval!

I'm only 6 weeks out and just came home from a Disney Cruise. I was quite nervous about the food, but I explained to the waiter what I've been through and he understood why I was only eating a few bites of my entree. I never ordered the appetizers or salads. At first I missed not being able to eat the good food, but I felt so much better about myself afterwards! I made this cruise more about the experience with my husband and children then about the food. I will be able to weigh myself when I get home to see how I did! I'm nervous just a tad to see if I lost! Here is to many more cruise experiences rather than the food experience!!

I'm not as fast as others, either! But as long as the scale comes down I don't care! I didn't put this weight on overnight, I must be patient!! :-) -

I have found when I'm too full I start to hiccup!! I thought that was weird but I've read that can be normal! I, too, eat tuna, chicken, yogurt, scrambled eggs with a half if slice of cheese , cottage cheese and I mix no sugar added jelly and protein shakes which sometimes I add baby food fruit to it to give it a better flavor! Sometimes it's harder for me when I'm making lunch for my children, I have 4 year old twins and a 2 year old. But we have all really turned our eating around, making healthier choices. And they don't even realize it! My husband is even losing weight! So that's good! I'm happy for you! My weight as of my surgery day was 320 today was 300! I almost into the 200's again and that will be awesome!
