Hi, I have been following Bariatric Pal for awhile now. I just got my surgery date, it's set for May 20th. I had hoped for an earlier date, abt May 9th. Only because my oldest granddaughter is graduating high school on May 29th and then having a big graduation party on June 7th. I am hoping with a surgery date so close to her graduation that I will be in good shape for the celebrations.
Any info from anyone on what to expect post op will be helpful. I'm not worried so much about the food thing at that point because I will be on liquid for one week then pureed for week two so there wont be any question of eating party food ! I'm just hoping my energy level, pain level etc wont hold me back.
I am going to a drug store nearby and getting all the vitamins I will need beginning week 2. I am also considering buying the chewable calcium tablets rather than the pills. Any ideas on that would be appreciated.
thanks for any help you can give me.
