    Attention ! Australian Sleevers

Toowoomba is my closest city as such, but yes Brisbane is my biggest major centre. About 4.5 hours away I travelled thousands of kms when I did IVF for my last two babes, so I am not worried about the travel. I do 600kms a week with work and children so I am used to it.

Sorry, still learning to use this site. How do I quote and add a comment? Helmc2 - is it too soon for me to get excited about the prospect of not being the fat/ugly sister at my brother's wedding at the end of March next year? That will be 4 months post op...... dare not let myself believe.

If I were you I would never get sick of telling your story. You must be so proud of yourself. I imagine weird things like what it will feel like to cross my legs, to buy clothes from a 'normal' shop for the first time - not have tuckshop arms lol. I hope it is as awesome as I imagine. Did you do much exercise?

Thank you for taking the time to post kelliv. I am not sure I could really call my area a town..... the closest pub/shop is 70 kilometres away . I would love to hear about your experience - if you are not tired of talking about it. Do you know of any websites or tools that have helped you along the way?

    Attention ! Australian Sleevers

Hi everyone I am new to this site and all things sleeving in general. Since my decision to have this surgery, things are moving very fast. I am excited, but also nervous - partly because only three people in my little world know what I am about to undertake. I haven't told any friends and as I live in a very small community, am worried I will find it difficult to deflect attention to myself. I am aware this isn't the easy road, I have many mixed emotions, but at the same time I have never felt more sure (or excited) about something in a long time. I am booked in for surgery on Nov 20 with Dr Lockie. Has anyone had any recent experiences with him? I have only had my initial consult but will be having an online consult with him this week. Any advice would be great. Please feel free to add me as a friend if you think we might be able to chat and support each other. P
