    Dressing this new body

Stitch fix looks soooooo awesome! But I can't seem to find any info on how expensive the pieces are. Can you share if you don't mind? I'm afraid of falling in love with pieces I can't really justify the monthly expense for.
  3. Just to clarify--- The growling is NOT HUNGER!!!!! My sleeve growls to this day when digesting food and I am quickly approaching 2 years out. My sleeve "talks" it just does. Completely unrelated to hunger!

    Painful to eat or drink

Did you have a breathing tube in your throat during the procedure? That would account for it

    Protein Shake

What trouble are you having? Just don't like the flavor of are they causing nausea or stomach issues My best advice is try lots of different brands and types--ready made, powder etc. some LOVE premier Protein, I can't stand them. I like the texture of powder mixed with Water, many find it gritty and gross. Try with milk, almond milk, water, etc. try shake like ones (premier, Syntrax matrix) and juice like ones (Syntrax nectar, Isopure in the glass bottles) try coffee like ones like chike and click. Keep trying till you find one you like! You can also add flavorings like sugar free torani syrups, sugar free cocoa powder, sugar free Jello pudding mixes, PB2 (defatted powdered peanut butter). Try blending with ice, try room temp, try poured over ice (my favorite). Try using more liquid than it calls for or even adding liquid to a pre made one for a different thickness/texture. Experiment! The Nashua Nutrition website sells single serving envelopes of every brand and flavor they carry good way to try some. If it's stomach issues, try lactose free. A lot of people (me included) have issues with lactose intolerance early out even if they didn't before. Went away for me in about 4-6 weeks.

    Biofreeze Gel?

I use bio freeze for sore muscles after a race. But I agree be really careful around any skin breaks. It will sting like nobody's business!

    Yummy Protein DRINK! Not shake.

I do something similar.... I put a Starbucks via packet (or two) a scoop of vanilla protein powder and Water and ice in a shaker and bam!
  10. I wasn't going to have to, but my dr asked me if I snored and I was honest and said yes. Has a sleep study, but didn't have sleep apnea. BTW--I no longer snore.

    Tail bone pain

I think the gel is Pennsaid. My daughter uses it for rheumatoid arthritis. I had the same issue and between my chiropractor and physical therapist (and yoga) I learned to sit differently and it really helped! We adjust our posture to compensate for the weight and need to reclaim the curvature of our lumbar spine. Doesn't fix it for all but it did for me! I have a pic somewhere I will find it and attach

    Protein Powder?

Where do you find inspire? Sounds interesting!
  13. I'm in that three year place and yeah it's more of a struggle to maintain for sure. I've gained 10. No more. And gone up and down those 10 for about six months and am trying to decide whether those 10 are worth the struggle. I'm still a size 4, I can still do everything I did when I was 135. My original stretch goal was 150 so I'm still 5 lbs below that. But damnit I liked 135 better. As for brachioplasty... Please don't assume people aren't giving the straight scoop. Just like with WLS we are all different. I had itching, but very little pain and no burning. Not sugar coating it. That just honestly wasn't my experience. I was back to mostly normal 2 weeks post op and had brachioplasty, tummy tuck and Breast lift/aug. I guess I'm just a good healer. I'm very sorry that hasn't been your experience

Why do we have to wait?

I'm sure you meant "they lie" jokingly/tongue in cheek? I'm sure it's true that it only lasted six months for you and I'm sure others have had that experience too... But many of us did have a year and some say they've had 18 months... I'm sure it's lasted even longer for some. Everyone's experience is different. Doesn't mean they lie.

    Swell Hell and HUNGRY

I've been told that any lipo at all is just harder on your body recovery wise and swelling wise. My brother in law had a tiny bit of lipo only, nothing else and his swelling and recovery were worse than mine! Still swollen six months after! And I totally get you about feeling like you've gained... But go easy on yourself. You do need the extra calories and Protein to heal and the swelling will go away. It will be worth it in the long run!!!!

When will it be time to remove the skin?

All of this is accurate... But when you have lipo the recovery is harder. I lost all the weight had a very low body fat percentage and my recovery was FAR easier than most I read here and on Real Self. Plus my surgeon was able to do all my surgeries (arms, breasts, TT) at the same time because he needed less time not having to do the lipo.

When will it be time to remove the skin?

You typically get the best results without having to revise if you are at goal/stable weight for six months and don't gain or lose more than 10lbs after the plastics

    Swell Hell and HUNGRY

The hunger post plastics is REAL!!! Went through that for sure! It does end. Do Keep your Protein high even without the workouts because your body needs it to heal. Can't help with the swelling I was lucky that way... Did you have lipo? I hear it's a lot worse if you do. The itching was awful for me too! Hope it ends for you soon!

Why do we have to wait?

It's hard enough to eat enough food to nourish yourself in the early days... Let alone a baby
