    Night eating.

I use Syntrax matrix. It has a combination of whey and casein. The Peanut Butter cookie is to die for! I also make mug cakes from it--recipe from this board. A scoop with about .25 tsp of baking powder and just a touch of liquid--milk or Water or coffee creamer-- to make an almost paste like consistency. Microwave about 40 seconds. Yum! I think... that almost sounds yummy. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App It is!!! Sometimes I use sugar free torani for the liquid and do like chocolate with raspberry. Mmmm
  4. At 165 your body may just be where your body wants to be. How tall are you? Are you at a healthy weight? How much of a struggle do you want to have to get those last few pounds if they are just for vanity? Just a thought.

    Sushi after surgery?

Almost three years out and I still can't tolerate rice. But I do sashimi and poke and rolls without rice. Love it!

    Protein bars suggestions.

Certainly something to be aware of and perhaps Protein Bars aren't the choice for you. They work well for some (me included) and not for others who do feel their sweet cravings are triggered.

    Protein bars suggestions.

No savory ones that I am aware of. Pumpkin is pumpkin pie. If I wanted savory I'd just eat Jerky or cheese or something. The moon cheese Snacks are awesome as are whisps and mr. Cheese-o's.

    Question from a beginner jogger

Thank you so much! That's what I was looking for just confirmation that what I was experiencing was normal.... Also realize that it's not really breathing per se... It's cardiovascular fitness. We breathe hard because our heart is working overtime beating fast and we breathe hard to keep the blood oxygenated. The more in shape the Heart muscle gets the easier you will breathe because you don't have to huff and puff to oxygenate the blood. And if you've been waking that much your legs are in much better shape right now that your heart!

    Question from a beginner jogger

Yes!!!! Totally normal!!!! I started couch to 5k 2 1/2 years ago and have built my way up to two marathons. It's ALWAYS the breathing/cardio that gives out first on me even now. The ONLY time my legs ever gave me problems first was my second full marathon at about mile 23. Couch to 5k will help you build lung/cardiovascular fitness as well as building your legs. Keep at it.
  14. Most protein powders are made from milk proteins not egg. Then there are some vegan ones from pea or hemp or soy protein. I think Jay Robb is one of the few made from egg. Just stay away from that as you're fine.

    Tail bone pain

It also comes with bad posture from being overweight and not adjusting your posture. If that's the case it's fixable!!! Check with a PT or chiropractor or even a good personal trainer or yoga instructor! My posture was horrible! Couple quick tricks/tests.... When you drive is your head back against the head rest? If not your posture needs work. Think of drawing your shoulder blades down and towards each other, pinching something between them. Use lumbar support when sitting. When walking or standing think about turning your palms towards the front with your thumbs away from your body. If any of these feel awkward or uncomfortable, your posture could be the culprit. When I fixed my posture it was AMAZING the changes I experienced. We learn to walk/sit/etc to balance an unbalanced body when we are obese. We continue those postures when we lose weight and need to fix them for our new bodies

    Whipped Cream

Also be alert. Sweets can make you crave more sweets in some. I am one of those. So be careful. If it doesn't trigger more sweet cravings and satisfies, great. If it does you may have to go cold turkey to kill the craving s

    Whipped Cream

Yes what ISG says--I would squirt it on Greek yogurt or protein pudding or a protein mug cake.

    Whipped Cream

Or even if you can't find the sugar free get the land o lakes. It's real food. Real cream and real sugar. Not oil and corn syrup.

    Whipped Cream

Sugar free land o lakes whip cream in a can. Reddi whip is all chemicals and corn syrup.

    Plastics

You gunna keep "the color"???? Wonderful! I'm one week out. I still have all of my sutures, but was able to get rid of two drains yesterday. I'm having "nerve" pain that I was not expected. The surgical pain itself is tolerable, but the "nerve" pain is unexpected and unacceptable. By the way----I will NOT be posting pix of my new and "perdy lady bits". Sorry. PS: You look "Maaaavelous, Daaaaling". There are meds specific to nerve pain. Ask your doc about Neurontin.

    Coffee protein drinks

Love fit frappe chai latte! Chike is pretty good. What j usually do is use Starbucks via instant powder with my regular vanilla or chocolate Protein shake (Syntrax matrix and Quest are the ones I use but whatever your favorite is!)

    hungry

Are you on an acid reducing medicine? Sometimes acid can mimic hunger, it did for me. Also get used to the stomach growling! Mine still does all the time at going on three years out and it's just the new noises my stomach makes when disgusting, totally unrelated to hunger.
  23. Depends on your insurance I suppose but mine won't cover anything with an augmentation/implant; they will cover reductions and lifts if they fall under very strict parameters.

    Complication or coincidence?

I never had vomiting with my gallbladder. And the symptoms do sound like that. Regardless of family history the key risk factors are the F's-- fat, female, fair and fertile (child bearing years). And yeah ct scan can't see sludge. My daughter has EDS and while I know there are digestive issues involved (and she has some) it's rarely the acute symptoms you describe. As for celiac, you know they can't test for that when you are gluten free. And there is a simple blood test these days to look for it (my understanding is it still has to be confirmed but it's a strong indicator with this simple test.) Have you seen a rheumatologist? They are the ones who might be able to connect the dots--celiac, EDS, autoimmune. But the gallbladder seems like the culprit to me!
  25. Me! My recovery was quite easy. I think you hear more about the miserable ones because those of us with easy ones have no story to tell.
