    Insure Nutrition

Sigh....YES but at the opposite end! I keep trying to get them to STOP sending them to me! I use a different Protein shake now and it's worth it to me to pay the $$ bc I've never liked the Premiere Protein! I've asked them to stop twice and just got another delivery today! Anyone in central to southern CA want some premiere Protein shakes????
  2. Smaller around with the same cup size means you ARE SMALLER overall, I promise! Cup size is relative to band size...each letter is an inch. So if you are a 34D measurement around your largest part of the bust is 38". So..... 44DD = 49" bust 40DD = 44" bust 36DD = 40" bust A 32 D cup is a much smaller breast than a 40 D cup breast. Ml

    Help am I pigging out

Are you logging that into a tracker? It should give you a good idea as to whether that is the right amount. Did your Dr. give you guidelines to follow?

    Is it too late ?

Bummer! Maybe I should go to Vegas...... Sounds fun! Take me with you and maybe your hair luck will rub off on me!Luckily I had a lot to begin with so while I can totally tell (I wrap the band around my ponytails and buns and extra time) not many other people can, so I am not worried.

    Is it too late ?

Yeah I think it's a crapshoot. I have been excellent about my Protein and it's high quality. I take the Biotin and all the rest. Started losing hair at six months out and it hasn't stopped yet and I am almost 8 months.
  6. There are lots of brands of natural non sweetened peanut butter. I have a Tbs of Laura Scudders a few times a week.

How to add fiber without grains or supplements?

Flaxseed meal. I mix it with ricotta and egg and protein powder and occasionally half a banana and then mix and cook it like a pancake

    Premade Chicken Meatballs

Check the sugar content on the turkey meatballs and if there's no added sugar, go to town! I am always surprised how many brands add sugar to their meatballs. I have found a few that don't and turkey meatballs are what I use =)

    FYI on hydration

You poor thing!!!! I've had repeated bouts of kidney stones over the years--and usually I can't pass them on my own, sadly. Thank you for the Water reminder! I have only had one stone since surgery and it was much smaller than my usual ones and I did pass it on my own. I think that was most likely due to keeping up on my liquids post op! I haven't been as good recently so I needed that reminder!!! Hope you are feeling better!!! They are absolutely the worst! Worst than my gallbladder attacks, worse than childbirth!!!
  18. I do crave things I was never a big fan of---roasted veggies, cottage cheese, tofu, zuccinni, milk, yogert--not things that would make me hurl or anything before, but thinks I never would seek out and might actually avoid pre op.

    Labor day Challenge

162 -1 I will take it considering I was on a long weekend working road trip/vacation and my eating and exercising were NOT what they normally are!

    How many cabs/protein/fats ?

At least 60g Protein but hopefully 80+. Less than 50 carbs. I don't track fat. By percentages it's typically 40% protein, 35% fat 25% carbs

    Back pain post surgery

The mid back is what says posture to me. Mine used to REALLY bother me there after I ran too (I run 1-4 miles a day and on my longer runs it would really get to me!). Took about 3-4 visits to the chiro for me to notice a difference plus specific exercises he gave me to do (wall squats, something similar to a yoga bridge pose but on a big foam roller and then a traction type pose on the roller) which I do 2-3 times a day. Noticed a big difference after about two weeks or exercises and 5 visits. Now I want to keep working on those exercises and add in more core work (which supports the posture and back) and keep up with my 2-3x a week of yoga and see the chiropractor twice a month. Hoping that will be a permanent solution. I also have a visit with an Ortho scheduled (it just takes about six weeks to get in!) and will ask what their suggestions are.

    Back pain post surgery

My insurance covers chiropractic. If yours doesn't try seeing an orthopedic dr and getting a referral to a physical therapist. I don't think for me anyhow it is a temporary readjustment. I think my body needs specific exercises and such to rebalance and strengthen different muscles, I think if I don't work on that then I will have bad posture and hunch forward and that will cause permanent back pain and musculoskeletal changes. I mean my skeleton and muscles adapted to my former weight and now the structure of my body has changed. My muscles and skeleton need to adjust accordingly. Am I making sense?

    Back pain post surgery

And same with my chest... Still a DDD cup after 100+ lbs lost (though the band size has done down from a 42 to a 34).
