    Yummy Nature Box!

I love both Graze and Naturebox, didn't use either till I was about 8-9 months out though and use it specifically to fuel for running because it's kind of high carb, but good carbs mostly. Graze is $6 for four boxes so $1.50 per snack and each is PLENTY for me...in fact I will often split it with my son or save half for later. I have some codes for first and fourth box for free if anyone wants one, and yes I get a free box too (box of four snacks) if you use the code. Naturebox is a little more tricky for me because I have to package it up into single serving Ziplocs when they arrive, or bring them on a trail or long run where I can justify eating more than a serving. For some reason I can eat more of those than the Graze ones! Probably because they have more carbs...the "nom noms" are especially good and small but carb packed, whereas the Graze tend to have more nuts so I don't eat as much. Not as much of a slider.

    Pain Meds?

Huh. I know all dr's are different, but to be that worries over the sugar content of liquid Tylenol seems excessive. Talk to him. Also see if the sugar content in adult liquid Tylenol is lower than children's Tylenol (yes it exists, I found it both at Walmart and Amazon).

    Pain Meds?

That's actually not uncommon with opiates. I itch like mad, but they can give you Benadryl and it will stop it. Just tell them ahead of time. Just a thought.
  5. I think your skin is looser when you lose quickly but it catches up. Mine was really bad at around six months, but now at almost a year out it's definitely catching up. Still want plastics, but it's not nearly as bad as I feared earlier.
  6. And if it helps any, I lost 15lbs my first week. I lost 29lbs my first month. Now I didn't have a preop diet (except for two days clear liquids only) so that accounts for part of it.
  7. I've been told I lost faster than "normal" since the first week. Was told not to expect to keep losing that fast, but I did. Was told to raise my calories and I did...some...as much as I could without being uncomfortable or eating too many carbs/sugar. Some people are slow losers, some faster. I really don't think there's a whole lot you can do about it if you are following your dr's instructions.

    Pain Meds?

Wow. Oh are you having RNY? Maybe it's a dumping issue, I had the sleeve. It was recommended to be by my dr, the liquid Tylenol.

    Exercise questions

Oh I get my performance gear/clothing online usually. Or at Marshall's/TJ. Maxx.

    Exercise questions

I run. I also do yoga/Pilates and TRX/power weights class. I am lucky I live in CA so don't have weather issues. I did do a trail run in the AZ desert a week ago and for that, at night (ran three relay legs and different times of day) it was cold so I wore performance leggings and a large performance tee. It was only in the low 40's though. I run all times of day depending on my schedule. When I fuel for a race I will eat carbs with some Protein (banana with PB, ricotta cheese pancakes with flaxseed, etc) about an hour before. If it's a shorter run (3 miles or less) I don't worry about it...sometimes I will have a Greek yogert, sometimes just coffee. Always do a Protein shake after. For classes---I can't eat before yoga/Pilates it makes me sick to my stomach. Weight classes it's whatever I normally eat. Again I do a protein shake after any of these.

    Pain Meds?

I had IV TYLENOL in the hospital and it was super! Did your dr say the liquid Tylenol had too much sugar? Yes it has sugar but in the grand scheme of things not enough to worry about early out. You are not eating much so not like you're gonna go over your calorie count.

    Snack ideas?

Oooo Kindle reminded me of one I had earlier this year that I loved...smoked salmon with the Philadelphia 2x protein cream cheese roll ups
  14. I had both and had very little pain. Back to work in a week. I didn't even know I had the hiatal hernia repair until I overheard one of the nurses telling another nurse at shift change!!

    What size is your sleeve?

Exactly what others have said... If they pull loosely around a 32 I could be the same size as pulling tightly around a 40. And if they oversew the staples that makes it tighter as well. It's about the doctor and what works for him/her not typically about the patient, though some will vary their size or technique for certain classes of patient. Mine used a 34F and oversews the staple line but I have no idea how tightly he pulls it before stapling.

    please tell me the truth

I've done all of the above. Small slice of thin crust, just the toppings and making my own. I like using Flatout low carb flatbread as a crust. They even have an Italian spiced one meant for pizza crust.

    Ideal size?

5'6.5". Started at 271. Didn't have a solid goal in mind but would have been satisfied with a 12, happy with a 10 and an 8 (single digits) was a DREAM! I am now 139 and a solid 6, occasionally a 4. Never thought that would happen in a million years! Hoping for plastics too (tummy, arms, thighs & boobs) so who knows if that will put me solidly into the 4's. I do exercise a LOT so that has probably helped with the skin somewhat, but it's definitely still there.

    Snack ideas?

Oh I forgot Greek yogert!!!! No added sugar

    Snack ideas?

That's one way of doing things, but I have been successful (lost 130lbs and am below goal) doing the opposite. I eat small "meals" or "snacks" (semantics) all day long because I can't eat enough to only eat three times a day. Different things work for different people. I eat protein type Snacks like.... Laughing cow cheese w cucumber Peanut or almond butter (no sugar) with celery Deli meat roll ups with thin sliced cheese Nuts Jerky Quest bars Poached or rotisserie chicken with salsa or guacamole Chilli Tuna salad w mayo, celery & green onion Hummus with pretzel thins Pepperoni "chips" with ranch Boiled shrimp with cocktail sauce

    Holiday Challenge!

Was gone for the weekend on a running trip but 143 this morning
  21. I think often we feel like "if only I lost the weight everything would be different" he'd be more affectionate, I'd be more successful in my career, etc etc etc. Usually none of those things change from the weight loss. You have to deal with things where they are and not believe the weight loss will fix it. I have known this intellectually but it's still hard when you get to goal and your life is startlingly similar to the way to was before. I have to learn to deal with the issues now that I don't have my weight to blame it on.
  22. I don't mind it. Never been called skinny before in my life, so I actually enjoy it. I suppose it would depend on who said it and their attitude, but so far it's felt flattering.

    Holiday Challenge!

I'm in. CW is 143 Goal weight was 145 so I am below Goal is to maintain and not above 149 (goal plus 5) I know that won't work in your spreadsheet most likely but I'd love the accountability of checking in so I hope that's Ok! Thanks for doing this!
