    Tummy Tuck Questions

Tummy tuck doesn't necessarily remove any fat, mine didn't, just skin. it also stitches together separated abdominal muscles.

    Quest bars and dumping

https://yupbrands.com/bupbar/ I don't like them as well as the Quest bars but they are a good alternative.
  4. Who said cheese wasn't good for you early out? Some people who stick to low fat instead of low carb might say so, but it's been on my plan since early on and is highly endorsed by my doc. I wouldn't rely on what "someone" on here said. If I eliminated everything one person on here said was bad I don't think I could eat anything LoL. Look at your doctors plan or check with your nutritionist/dietician.
  5. The sugar that is in it already is naturally occurring lactose which is in all milk products, including cheese, milk, cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, etc. If you make pudding with milk or buy it made with milk it has the same sugar in it. Lactose acts very differently in the body than sucrose, fructose, etc. Much lower glycemic index.

    Yoga

Yes!!!! Started at over 230 I know can't remember exactly. Started with a class or two at the gym every week and now practice 3-4 times a week at a yoga place and even seek out new places to practice when on a trip and go to other local places for special events (eg yoga to live music, inversion workshop, etc). Also love Erin Moetz classes online (Bad Yogi) and Instagram yoga challenges!!! I am thinking of going to teacher training. Love love love it!!!! And I love the muscle definition and strength it's given me. I'm also a runner, but yoga has been every bit as important to my physical progress and the running. I'm at 18% body fat now and a 135lb size four. Can't say enough good things about my personal yoga journey!!!! Yes it's harder heavier but any good teacher will help you with modifications. Worst part? Seeing all my loose skin in Down Dog, LOL!
  9. I do meat and cheese roll ups too. Over 1.5 years post op and have had four slices of bread in that time--two after my first triathlon and two after one of my half marathons. I agree that it's empty calories.

    Close to goal and stalled

If upping your calories doesn't work try lowering them, don't forget as you lose weight it takes fewer calories to fuel your smaller body so if you eat the same calories as before you have a smaller deficit. It's not as simple as calories in/calories out, but that is a part of it.
  11. Oooh, there's another one I want to try! The pudding mix in the yogurt.

    What Are Your Food Ruts?

Actually Cheerios have 22 g of carbs per serving. Quite a bit more than Greek yogurt! And the carbs in no sugar added yogurt are all from lactose, much lower glycemic index than Cheerios.
  13. It worked!! Took longer to set up than I anticipated, but it was good! Thanks! Yes!!! I love the texture very creamy! A bit more tart than even the Greek. I use Siggis brand and they have an amazing pumpkin one and an orange ginger I love!

    Fed up

Has anyone entertained the possibility that Shay might be a troll? Only this thread and two other posts, one voicing concern that one day a 3oz gain instead of a loss and the other asking how much loss could be expected by Christmas. I could be way off base and if I am I sincerely apologize, but typically Legit rants come from people with a longer post history.

    Fed up

See we found one! Some stuck up b***h who wants to tell everyone how she followed the rules and she's at goal. The point of my post was to tell people like you that "goal shaming" isn't necessary. Wow a term you haven't heard of, it must not be a term then. Nobody said you shouldn't be proud of your weightloss, hell im proud of your weight loss but you saying you will not apologize for following the rules has nothing to do with you trying to tell others their rules. This is a site for information and support, if you have a negative outlook on those who are just beginning in their journey or you feel like you are superior because you're on the other side now, then you have no business being here. Enjoy your day, fortunately I don't let little leeches like you destroy mine, but others might so you should watch what you say and how you say it. You have valid points but here is where you lost me.... Please take your own advice and watch what you say and how you say it. No need to call anyone a stuck up B or a leech and as was pointed out its against the terms of service. You only take away from your own credibility when you do that. You will alienate people and they won't hear your important message.

    What Are Your Food Ruts?

Protein shakes and Greek Yogurt. My kids five me a hard time because I literally panic when I am down to 3-4 yogurts in the fridge (my husband also eats one daily so that's only two day worth tops, maybe one!) I literally have a whole shelf in my fridge devoted to it. Deli meat (Butterball think sliced turkey) and cheese (sargentos ultra thin cut sharp cheddar) too. A slice of turkey rolled around half a slice of cheese. I do vary the type of mustard and on occasion opt for the Swiss cheese. There is a tupperware box of these in my fridge at all times!
  17. So one whole package of jello with one cup of water for one cup of yogurt? That seems like a lot, but I'm gonna give it a shot right now! If the proportions are different let me know and I will retry LoL
  18. It's common for the stomach nerve endings to be numb for a while and for the fullness feeling to happen when the nerves come back. Perhaps that's what is happening.
  19. It's not necessarily ABnormal, but more normal is to mistake head hunger (wanting the food rather than being truly hungry), thirst or acid for hunger. If you aren't taking anti acid medication ask your doctor about it.

    Is it rude?!

What kind of job do you have? Honestly I had three procedures at once (tummy tuck, breast lift and augmentation and arm lift) and I could have gone back to a desk job after a week to 10'days. Wouldn't have been a walk in the park but I could def have done it. Five weeks out now and completely normal life really. Since about three weeks. But everyone is different
  21. Right?!?! I hope SHE can learn to see her beauty!
  22. Oh my gosh so many good new ideas on this thread! I can't tell you how many yogurt threads j have followed as posted to and this is the best ever! Did the via this morning--yum! Trying the Jello and eggs next!
  23. I don't agree with your doctor's diet and think everyone has given sound diet advice.... BUT I also don't agree with you abandoning YOUR DOCTOR's Advice. You need to trust your doctor and their judgement. My suggestion is to either question your doctor about the refined carbs/processed foods and perhaps ask for a referral to a nutritionist/dietician who could work in conjunction with your doctor or find a new doctor. If you abandon your doctor's advice now it could be a slippery slope when the advice is necessary and important.
