I have had weight issues my entire life; always going up and down. Now I am in my late 30's and it seems like it keeps going up and up. I met a few people that have had this surgery and are very happy with the outcome. I know it is something you have to work at everyday in order for the outcome to be successful even after the surgery. You read or hear everyday how looks don't matter, have confidence, and all of that other BS. Looks do matter! Society judges everyone on looks and body image! In a perfect world looks would not matter, but we do not live in a perfect world. I'm tired of being self conscious, I'm tired of being limited to where I can shop for clothes, I'm tired of fad diets, I'm tired of being my own worst enemy because of my weight, and I'm tired of worrying about what other people think, and most of all I am tired of not liking what I see staring back at me in the mirror.
