My Lunch: A Pictorial Attempt To Show You Life Will Be Normal
Bigbeaz replied to gamergirl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My lunch today was 3 baked chicken wings with home-made orange sauce. Sorry I ate it before I saw this post, so no pic lol -
I want to get something like this.
-
The only thing I had the day before was a Greek Yogurt.

That's great. Keep it up

I was like that my first days too. Are you taking your vitamin B? I know that really helps me. -
Wow! Measurements Are Telling A Different Story...
Bigbeaz replied to Fluffnomore's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
yeah, I am starting to regret not measuring myself. I can really tell I've lost 55 lbs but most of it is in my arms and legs so I can really tell that much in my mid section. I know the next 50 will be drastic. -

That sounds great. I didn't have much gas pains but I was also taking gasX regularly to prevent it. How does it feel to be back at work? I know I was back after only 7 days lol. But I also have a cushy office job. -

Are you working out more than you did before? I know that when ever I started to go on bike rides every night after my surgery I stopped losing for a while. My legs feel a lot more powerful than they did before. I know that the more you exercise the more muscles you gain. It makes us daily weighers suffer on the scales lol. -

2 Month Post Op With Pics
Bigbeaz replied to livvsmum's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Keep it up! It's amazing isn't it? -
I love chili. I like to eat white chicken chili a few times a week. Its easy to eat and pretty healthy without a huge chunk of corn bread to go with it lol. Its amazing when you realize how much crap you were putting in your body pre-surgery.

Sorry I'm just seeing this comment. I'm doing great. I'm a month and 5 days iut and I'm down 51lbs total since the 10th of October. I really didnt have any issues during my recover and was back in the office a week later.
-
Like some others I have had a very smooth recovery. I've lost 51 lbs since October 10th and I was pretty much pain free and left the hospital the same day. I did have a tiny bit of nausea the first morning but I was fine after that. I haven't found a food that is unsettling either. The only thing that I still have issue with is getting my protein in. But I think most of us are in that boat.

How Much Help Did You Need?
Bigbeaz replied to GotItDoneInHarlem's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had my surgery on the 24th of October. I arrived at 5 am. Surgery process started at 7:30 and I was up and walking around around 1 pm. I felt really well once I woke up and was able to hold down sips of Water and watered down apple juice so they let me go home at 11 pm the same day. As for help, my wife took 4 days off work but I really never even needed her assistance. I know everyone heals differently but I was moving well and could do everything on my own. I would suggest even if you do feel great let everyone help you as much as they want. Being pampered even if you don't really need it will help your recovery even more. Just don't forget to be up and moving, besides getting your liquids in it's one of the more important things you can do. -
How Many Times Do You Go #2?
Bigbeaz replied to luvzpitbullz's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
For me it was 3 days post op. But I also did a cleanse before my big day so I really didn't have much to begin with. -

Bigbeaz replied to Alison1227's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A

Can I Bring A Laptop During My Hospital Stay?
Bigbeaz replied to Ree's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I was in the hospital for less than 24 hours here in Dallas. I brought a few electronic but really didn't have the desire to do anything with them. I did play with my Galaxy but thay that's about it. -
Nsv: Eating At A Food Court Post Surgery
Bigbeaz replied to gamergirl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yeah I love the fact that I can pig out on a spoon full of mashed potatoes and a sliver of chicken lol. I didn't realize how much food I was eating until I compared my plates now to what my wife normally eats. And my plates used to always be twice what she could even handle. Its amazing stuff. -
For Those Of Us Who Weigh Everyday, Do You Notice A Trend?
Bigbeaz replied to adargie's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am also constantly on the scale. I use it at least twice a day lol. I have also noticed that when I do lose a few lb's is one day to the next its not a gradual thing through the week where im losing .5lb's a day. -
Sometimes lack of energy is mental. When you feel tired go for a walk. The more you exercise the more energy you will have. At least that works for me. Also take your vitamins, that helps alot.

Almost 1 Month Post Op And Have Not Lost Weight In 2 Weeks. Suggestions Please
Bigbeaz replied to TopNotchMami's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It'll take time for sure. I had those few days too lol. My wife told me to stop worrying about it and as soon as I did I lose 5 lbs. We just have to stay positive. I have to keep telling my self Ive lost 50lbs in 42 days and that is still amazing. But like anyone I'm still going to worry about the next pound. -
Almost 1 Month Post Op And Have Not Lost Weight In 2 Weeks. Suggestions Please
Bigbeaz replied to TopNotchMami's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
DONT WORRY. I just started losing again too after a few weeks. I think I only drop 4 lb's then all of a sudden it started to come off. Your body is still adjusting and when you move into the different food stages your body have to adjust also. Just keep eating right and get some exersive and the weight will start coming off again soon. -
Help! My family ordered pizza and I'm on pre-op!
Bigbeaz replied to Kyrie's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I know its bad but I cheated a little 8 days before my surgery. I had some mexican food...no as much as I usually would have but I went off my diet. The doc said my liver was perfect and I still lost 25.5 lbs on my preop. The last 3-4 days are what really matter to get ypur liver to the size and consistency for safe surgery.
