  9. I would say it is "normal" for you to produce less stool. I know in my situation I was kinda like you in that it was a given that I would go at least two times a day. And that was because of the amount and type of food I was eating. But it isn't normal to go more than two days for sure. Like others have said try drinking more fluids and call your Dr. if you have the slightest discomfort and they will tell exactly what to do.
  10. I've been riding my bike on off gym days and I was able to go 10 miles yesterday. Pretty exciting considering I would only do about a mile when I started lol. My legs feel like jelly though.

    4 week stall...UGH

Just keep pushing. I also had a stall at 4 weeks. You have to let your body adjust to the new life. The new food and the new workouts. Remember you are also building muscles. Even walking on a treadmill will build muscles. The scale doesn't always show you the real truth. You will start losing again.
  15. I was sleeved on the 24th of October and I'm down 65 pounds. I started out at 370. I felt the sleeve was best for me because it had minimal side effects and I wanted this to be a permanent life changing event for me. Either way you go I think you are going to drop weight as long as you are motivated to do so.

    Constipation with extra protein?

I have found that the change in your diet does that. I used to go 2 times a way, now its about once every other day. Just make sure you are getting enough fiber in your diet.

  20. 1) I didn't have many issues at all. I did wake up a few days after my op with nausea but I started taking a pill right before bed for the first week and it never came back. Other than that I have had zero complications. Went back to work 7 days after surgery and was driving then also. 2) I have been eating a lot of meat and eggs. Like RJ I do have the occasional (SMALL) piece of pizza. I try and restrict my "carb" days to Sunday. But other than that I can eat anything you can imagine just in very small quantities. I think my favorite meal is chicken wings right now. I usually bake 6 and will eat 3 for dinner and take 3 for lunch the next day.

How much did you lose pre-op?

I dropped 25 lbs before my surgery.

    What do I say?

I have 4 other techs in my office and I have only told my friend whom I work with. Everyone else thinks I had a hernia repair and that I am just trying to change the way I live. I don't think they need to know any more than that. Especially if you aren't very close with your co-workers. You should defiantly tell them you are going on vacation if they don't already know.
