Hi my October Sleevers, I was sleeved on October 30th, I have to say it was not an easy transition, I was sooooooooo nauseaous, and was vomiting blood for the first day, I was given so many nausea medicines that I had a reaction to them, I left the hospital last night and was feeling great, but I can't seem to get any fluids into me I am using a small medicine cup and each swallow brings a full feeling in my new sleeve. Has anybody noticed that getting in the liquids is very hard. I would rather not put anything in my mouth for fear of pain and fullness.

I am getting sleeved tomorrow also but my time is 1:20 that stinks. I have all morning to think about it. My husband is a wreck also, I guess we should be honored our guys love and worry about us. Good luck my friend. See you on the other side. Bring it on.

Had my pre-op visit Now it is time to wait for next Wednesday, to be sleeved and start my journey.

Good Luck Boston Sleevers. I go for my pre-op testing tomorrow. I think the worst part will be getting through the Boston rush hour traffic.

I am on Day 2 of my pre-op also my surgery date is October 30th. I find it very hard to get in all the shakes. I am not having any issues but I find I don't have all the time to keep drinking 4 shakes a day, I have been also keeping myself very busy and find I am not hungry. Question I have noticed that my urine output is very reduced, Do you think it is because of all the protein. I remember when all the hype about the Atkins diet and people having kidney problems with all the protein. Any thoughts?

I have been taking this for months and it has helped me lose weight as well as keep my A1C in the perfect range. I have never told my doctors that I take this and why my diabetes is under control but I think it is the Green coffee extract. I will not be using it after I am sleeved, I started my pre-op diet yesterday and I am finding I am having sugar lows because of the coffee extract. My husband is going to take the ones I have already purchased, as not to waste them they are expensive.

I am going to BWH, on Halloween, hopefully the staff don't dress up or I will really be hallucinating from the medicines or the staff.
