  1. I started Feb 13th and have surgery April 22nd. It all depends on insurance and getting any other appts done as soon as possible. I had to stay on top of things pretty closely to make sure I got things done quickly. I took all the first available appt times. And I made lots of phone calls lol. My doctor's office said 2 months is the shortest time frame they have ever worked with. Good luck!

    Misfit Shine Review

It's ok It's always hard, for me, to determine the right tone of a post lol. I don't even get some people's humor in person. I've not really posted much, but I love this site and I have read a bunch of your posts. I love your advice and how you have shared your experiences.

Yes BLERDGirl you did. I meant it in an agreeing way. That we all have our own preferences. My reply was just saying that I love it. I'm sorry it came across in a bad way.

    Misfit Shine Review

It's about personal preference. I have a Misfit Shine and love it. I got it as a gift with the necklace.( in the sea glass color) I love that it's metal since I have plastic and latex allergies. Another perk is that I love how it looks so I never forget to put it on I've liked it much better since they improved the app for android, I have a Galaxy Note 3. I've read really good reviews on the Withings tracker and the Fitbit too. Whatever helps motivate me to move is a good thing in my book lol

I would love a buddy or mentor :)

I am glad to hear you are doing better now I am doing the same with food and not drinking with meals etc... I am still waiting to get in for my first appt. It's driving me crazy waiting lol

Thanks I have been thinking about it for way to long. I am still waiting for my first appt. with the doctor. My poor timing with the holidays and all. Did you do anything major before surgery? Like prep wise?
  7. Hi, I am just starting out and could really use a friend who is just starting out or a mentor who has been through it. I live south of Kalamazoo Michigan and will have surgery with Dr.Weaver. I'm excited and nervous.
