Hi everyone, I'm in bandsters hell now. Haven't had a fill yet and so hungery all the time. Last night I had a lot of discomfort on my upper right side that got me really worried. I took some gasx and it's pretty muchy gone now. Otherwise I've been fine. All healed up nicely. I'm so glad I don't have diabetes or incontinence. Just a lot of pain in my knees (which have been replaced already) and feet. And high BP. It's almost impossible to exercise if it's on my feet. Hope everyone is feeling well today. Sharon

I went to the first seminar in April and had surgery in Oct and my first fill will be Dec 11. There were no snags, no hold-ups and ins was approved right away. It just takes that long were I went.

I'm sorry you don't like it. I wouldn't like it in water but it's great to add to soups and stuff.

I'm getting my first fill 12/11. I haven't lost much at all. In fact I think I gained a pound back. Maybe Thanksgiving is catching up with me.

Golly, 21# is a lot! And I bet you haven't even had a fill yet. You are doing great.

About how much does a tt cost? I'm pretty sure I will have a lot of excess skin but don't know if I will want to do anything about it at my age.

My clinic recomends slimfast low carb and carnation instant breakfast sugarfree.

I think its orthostatic hypotension. Means your pressure drops when you stand because more blood runs to your legs. You probably would notice the drop if you took your BP before and after standing. You should see your Dr and get your meds adjusted. Be sure you are getting all your fluids in.

It doesn't sound silly at all. I think most of us have lost and gained back tons of weight in the past. I know I can lose but I also know that after a few weeks my body just rebels and the hunger is unrelenting, The band for me is to keep that from happening.

I looked into bypass surg when I was 57 and was told I was 2 old so let it go. As soon as I heard about lapband I knew I wanted it. Just wish I could've had it many years ago.

We have 2 dogs and 2 cats. They are a hoot. The litttlest dog, an 8 lb maltese and the smallest cat wrestle all the time. They just love each other. They are always sneaking up and pouncing on each other. They tear around the house like crazy barking and yeowling. They take turns being the chaser. The older bigger dog, a bichon thinks its his job to make them behave keeps running to us tatteling. The older cat just ignores them all even if they run right over him. He is an escape artist. He gets out in the yard and jumps over the fence when we let the dogs out. Then he goes to neighbors and lays on his back in their driveways and cries until some comes out and rubs his belly. Hes white and very fat and very pampered but has the most pitiful cries in our neighbors driveways.

i BELIEVE i HEARD the skin couldn't be used but don't know when or where Im heard that.

I got the actitrainer yesterday and today is the first day I've used it. I'm having some trouble with the calorie part....finding the food I eat. For instance, it didn;t have slim fast on it's lists and I had homemade chicken chili for lunch and don't have the energy to figure out how many cal were in that. I might go back and call it bean soup. Another complaint...the arm band is too tight and it doesn't come with a waist band so if I want to wear it on my waist I will have to rig up something.

I Liked The Plain Unflovored Best Because You Can Add It Ti Any Liquid And It Doesn't Really Change The Flavor..just Makes It Healthier
