    Thanks to all for your well wishes. Now one day post op; I have an upper GI X-ray this morning and should be released by noon. Has beed some pain and soreness but nothing like I was expecting. Wish you could have seen the surgeon's face this morning when I asked if I could have scrambled eggs for breakfast....you could just see him trying to decide if I was serious )

    A new banster! I had my surgery this afternoon and am now out of recovery and in my room. So far there has been little pain so the meds are doing their job. As for weight loss, I dropped 10 pounds on the pre-op liquid diet and am ready for this next stage.
