    My Story

How do I get the weight tracker?' Nevermind found it
  2. Everyone loses differently. Congrats on the surgery btw. I had surgery on Oct 1. My first fill is Nov 6th as well. Little nervous about it but hey its a new life. I have heard some lose quickly and some lose slow but its a journey dont get discouraged and just keep up with it. Keep your head up you made the right choice. POW 415 CW 362 GW 225

    My Story

I have been looking for a Forum to discuss questions about Lap band because I always feel bad calling or emailing the Dr for simple questions. Anyways on to my story. I am a 29 y/o father of 2 boys. I have been trying to lose weight for years and I have success but nothing that stuck. I started reviewing my other options outside of a diet. I needed something more permanent that I couldn't just stop. I found lap band surgery as an option but didn't know if I should follow through...Well on vacation my mind was made up for me when I was unable to enjoy something with my boys. It kind of hit home and my mind was made up for me. I then proceeded with the surgery. I am now 5 weeks after surgery feeling great and down 54 lbs and 3 pants sizes. I am blessed to be having so much success so far but i know it is just the beginning. Looking forward to reading up on others success as well as struggles as I know I will experience my own.
