Wow 62kgs that's great!!!
-
I told my family and a couple close friends. No one else needs to know. I'm out having dinner with a new person and I'm struggling I'll let them know too so I don't look crazy. It's nothing to be ashamed of, it's helping yourself! Your kids will definitely notice something is up haha. Let them know you'll be eating healthier. As for the youngest, this could help her too you'll be making better choices!

He wouldn't give me a fill he said I've been doing well.. 14kgs in 7 months he said was really good.. Slow loss is good loss but I am eating more than I was.. I've been eating really stupidly since Getting knocked back for the fill and now need to chill out a bit.. I can't complain though, I'm meeting new people and making friends... I feel good when I go out so its a very big difference.

Hey caliali! Think positive thoughts! There are a lot of low bmi-ers out there and to be honest I think surgeons like it more because it makes surgery that bit more safer. All surgeons ask us to lose weight before surgery to get down to 90-100 so I think you'll be right! I'm seeing my surgeon today... First time in 7 months I think, maybe more.. Don't think he will be happy about that but what can you do I'm stuck so might as well get a fill! Struggling so much for motivation in this weather, I know it's a crappy excuse but it is what it is. Happy to not gain weight!
-
Yeah I had a huge argument yesterday with family haha they think I shouldn't lose anymore and it just baffles me... I only want 5 more kilos to go too! I just checked my BMI and I'm in the healthy range haha wow! At the end of the healthy range but still in it! My gym membership fell through.. Really wanna get into the gym just so expensive.. I definitely need to tone up quite a bit.. Maybe it isn't so much weight but more tightening up a little I dunno! Hate my arms and legs! ALSO been one year since banding, no weight gain very happy, that in itself is a success as well as the 40kgs I've lost I'd like to get into a size 10 my family make me feel like I'm severely underweight or something and that I see myself as obese... I feel like I'm realistic, I know that I'm average weight, a little chubby at the moment.. I just want a little extra off haha they drive me crazy. And they're all smaller than me!!! Maybe they think we'll be too hot?
-
Yeah I'm still stuck! 64-65-66.. Up and down. I have an event in 7 weeks so hopefully that motivates me to eat better... Winter really isn't helping my crappy choices.

MISTAKE IN THREAD NAME sorry guys! I'm from oz and use kgs. I am minus 80 pounds not 150 hahaha!! Not sure of how to change the title.. I started at 230lbs and I'm now at 150lbs... Found this old photo today, I definitely encourage people to take photos along the way. You don't really notice it yourself until you see it side by side!

I'm getting a free 3 month gym membership soon lucky me can't wait to hit the gym, I definitely need it!
-
I have no idea how this has happened. Weighed in today at 66.5kgs!? Been drinking heaps of water so maybe that helped me out haha. The end of this month will be my one year bandiversary! Not a bad effort
-
I'm also back to 69kgs. 68, 69, 67.5, 69... Not going up to 70kgs though so that's something. It was a lot easier to lose the weight when I was heavier, like they say it's harder when you have less weight to lose. Not that I am giving 100% at the moment. I probably need a fill, haven't seen my surgeon in months..... Just gonna have to suck it up and do it. He'll be happy with my loss anyway. I'll book it in for next week

You'll get there Bella I'm all over the place, finding it hard to focus at the moment. I'll get there also Hope everyone is doing well, sending good vibes to all xx

Thank you

Yeah my hair was pretty gross green HAHAHA! Looks much better natural. My hair was coming out a bit more than usual a few months later but I have thick hair so didn't really notice that much. My skin is pretty good but I've never had a problem with skin before. I'm 152cm, I still definitely need to get to at least 60! We'll do it together I ate really well today, started again so I'll try not to slack off too much! I've been dancing every weekend and I think it's reshaping my body. Walking instead of trams and stuff but no more gym as I can't afford it. As for saggy skin I think I might just end up with some. This is what my arms are looking like now.. Not sure how it'll end up, but hoping for the best. My thighs are also pretty wobbly. And this photo just to show that a few more kgs definitely need to come off. I think I definitely think that I'm fatter than I am. It might take a while to get used to it. I got my first pair of jeans in over 5 years, size 12 perfect fit, getting loose. I'm chubby now! Haha so weird. Anyways back to healthy eating I'm gonna kick these 8kgs in the ass!!
-
I bet you do feel amazing I've been slacking off for a months to be honest! Hovering between 68 and 69 but I'm ok with it. I found a horrible photo today and found the top that I wore in it so took a photo to compare and just wow.... Can't believe it! Check this out!
-
Woooooo go Bella!!!! amazing news!! You're gonna kick my butt you're doing so well!
-
Yeah I've been on a plateau too .. Frustrating but I'm ok with it, better than 100 something
-
I have managed to get myself into the 60s. 69.7kgs, JUST got myself there and feeling pretty good I was down to 68kgs about 5 years ago and was over the moon, I'm almost back to that stage but would definitely like to see another 10 gone, possibly more because I'm a short ass I was in such a rush to lose weight when I first got handed and I'm now I'm totally ok with slow and steady losses My bandiversary is 3 months away, how time flies!!! I think my goal of getting to 60kg in one yearmay be possible! Even if it isn't at the one year mark I'll get there
-
5 months and 50lbs later!

Hi Mommyfrid, You definitely seem to be doing everything right. Maybe do as I suggested and take a photo to compare from now and again in a month. Or even take measurements! With exercise that's when I definitely noticed a plateau, and like you I was baffled by the fact that weight wasn't dropping! You definitely are gaining muscle, I would prefer a kilo of muscle than a kilo of fat any day! Water aerobics is especially good for toning muscle! Like I have said before, I'm no angel and I have my bad days and I definitely know that I could be doing better. In the end it is slowly coming off though. I always say the band isn't really doing much, but it definitely is. If we didn't have this amazing tool we wouldn't be where we are today, we would have given in a long time ago. I have 5ml in a 7ml band, I still feel that I can eat a bit more than i should, it takes time to find the sweet spot! And you are saying 5lb loss a month, that is a very good effort!!!!! I wouldn't be disappointed with that at all, it's fantastic. Don't be so hard on yourself, it takes you longer to realise the change in your body because you see yourself every single day. You are doing greeat

That's great Bella ???? fantastic! Hold two ten kg bags of potatoes, that's a lot of weight!! Touched down in oz, weighed myself this morning and no damage done. Lucky me ???? Amy's surgery is today, let us know how you go, girl!
-
Also, I'm finally minus 30kgs ????
-
Amy, that date is so soon! The day after I get back from Turkey, looks like we both have a countdown! I can't wait to get home. @@Bellarose100 just read that you got into the 70s, THATS SOO GOOD!! You must be feeling great how exciting

Hi, I'm being banded on July 29th. Any other July banders out there?
-
October 2014 wasn't really all that long ago stress less, it doesn't matter how long it takes just as long as you get there! Trust me I know how frustrating it can be, but worrying all the time doesn't help with weight loss! I was banded in July 2014 and I thought that I would be at goal by now. I'm not, I'll get there eventually
