You can find Syntrax nectar on mybariatricpantry.com . They have the tubs, but also a sample pack. I bought from bjsbariatrics.com because you can choose your own sample pack by selecting which flavors you want to try. The Caribbean Cooler is supposed to be the best one, however I haven't gotten a chance to try it. I'm sure you can find them in stores, but I'm not exactly sure where, I haven't had any luck finding them.

I had trouble getting them in as well. I found Syntrax Nectar works great. They have all sorts of flavors and the fruit ones taste just like Crystal Light. It's a lot of trial and error before you find something that makes it easy to get down.

I tried Unjury and Jay Robb but they started to become sickening and weren't very tasty. I now use Syntrax Nectar. They have a bunch of different flavors from fuzzy navel to cookies and cream. The fruit ones taste just like you're drinking Crystal Light which makes it easier to get down, for me at least. They are about 23g of protein per serving.

Hi all, I am new to this site. I have been having some problems and decided to see if there was a community out there with similar issues. I got my band done 2 weeks ago. I did liquids the first week and was then moved to pureed foods. For the past few days i have been sick to my stomach almost constantly. I can't get in what I need because the sight, smell and thought of the food I need to eat makes me want to vomit. Though I never actually throw up, I have the constant feeling and lump in my throat like I'm going to. Protein shakes are basically out of the question (at least the ones I have), it's the same with the food, it makes me sick. It's so hard to eat. I have like a constant upset stomach and some pain as well. I went to the surgeon today and she said either they could try to access the port and take some of whatever liquid is there out or to go back on liquids for the weekend. I'm back on liquids, but still feel the same at this point. Has anyone else had a similar situation? Anything would help. Thank you, Laura

The nausea and everything is gone and I'm on to mushie foods. The nutritionist said it may have been stress since your muscles tense and your stomach restricts more. It makes sense with everything going on at that point. Glad its done. Thanks everyone!

I drink throughout the day and I don't get dehydrated. I am having trouble with getting my Protein in which I know is not good. I found this Atkins shake that's 15mg of protein that I can tolerate for now. I don't eat fast either, I make sure that I eat slow and don't eat and rink at the same time. What I honestly think it is is that it's the purreed foods. I don't feel like I'm eating anything and I've never liked eating yogurt or anything similar because I wasn't chewing or anything. I started to eat some soft foods just to see if it's any better and it is, but I have to talk to the nutritionist about all this...I don't want to mess myself up. Thank you guys!
