I had my surgery on Friday and was back at work Monday morning. I also didn't tell anyone what I was having done so couldn't stay out long. I was sore and had some trouble at lunch time but as long as u have some gas pills and a pillow you should be ok.

Laying down last night I felt a knot under my ribcage (not very big but still a knot). You can kind of move it around, has anyone else felt this or could it be something I need to go get checked out?

No my port in on the right...maybe its just scar tissue or something.

I have a 14cc band and I am at 8 1/2....Anyone that has this size of a band, when did u hit the "green" area?

I have done HORRIBLE this week...how can I go through Thanksgiving and do PERFECT but then fail like this! All week I have gave into tempation. I eat Beans, beef fajita meat, sour cream and pico de galo almost every night for dinner. Then for the last 2 days I have ate 2 bite size reeces. I have worked so hard and went through pain to start this journey and now just (pardon my french) screwed it all up...not anymore..starting RIGHT NOW I will stick to my diet and get this weight OFF OF ME....ok rant over...have a great day

Hello, I sale the wonderful products of Itworks! ..I had started using the wraps, pills and shakes before being banded and seen great results. My question is, can I start taking my pills again. I know the ingrediants will not hurt me (since they are all natural) but I am kinda worried about the size of the pill and the size of my band. (I was banded a week ago today)... Thank you

What does it feel like to get your first fill?

Hello I was banded on the 8th (about 6pm). Today (11/12/13) I am still having some chest pain and it feels like an air bubble or something keeps trying to come up and it is hard to breath. is this normal?

3 more days and its my turn! So nervous and so excited at the same time...good luck to you

Ok I need help!! I am only on day 2 of the pre-op diet (Only shakes until the 6th of Nov)...I am hungry and as soon as i make the shakes i start gagging...any ideas on how to get my mind over this and for me to drink all 5 of them each day?

I had to buy them from the doctor..they said it had to be this brand....do u think its ok to get other brands? I was told to drink 5 shakes a day (nothing else except water). Can not add anything to them except crystal light (but i have latte falvored and choc. so i dont think that would be to good). These shakes were $110 for 3 weeks worth.

I have the typical story...got preg and married at an early age..of course it didnt work out so 1 son and 2 miscarriges later I was starting over. I started to lose weight then got remarried and bam here comes another baby I have gained 130 pounds since high school and I am beyond sick of looking at it. I have been remarried for 8 years now and am the happiest i have ever been except my weight. I have looked into the lap bad along with gastric, sleeve and many other options. I am confident that lap band is the safest and best for me so after years of researching and wanting I am finally doing it!! November will change the rest of my life. I want to be able to go to my kids school and eat lunch with them without worrying that the kids in their class is going to make fun of them for have a "fat mom". I am scared, nervous, happy and excited all at the same time. The "what ifs are playing in the back of my head..what if I dont lose anything...what if i have a bad reaction to it..what if someone finds out that i am doing this (no i have not told a single sole except my husband for fear of being judged)... So wish me luck that i can get more sleep and that this WILL work

I agree with everyone here!! I have a wonderful husband who is so supportive and children that will deff help me through it to make sure it works! I want it to bad not to!! Good luck to everyone and congrats to those of you who have already lost!!! bandista--- what day are u being banded?
