If a doc was in the "ghetto".....

Enigma said, "people" in her (Enigma was female, right?) post. This implies that the conflict as something to do with humans. Why else would someone be "offended" in this situation? It was, also in my opinion, a misunderstanding. Jeez people are just too goddamn sensitive these days. Enigma, you took the word "people" and tried to accuse the person of a racist remark (through implication) If I am wrong, I apologize. Goddamn people are too sensitive. (im white btw. not like that matters)

    Getting banded tomorrow

Well, let's see. It has been exactly 1 year, 2 hours, and 2 minutes (while typing this part at least ) since I made this thread. Pretty much my lap-band anniversary. Since then, I have lost 135lbs. and I feel great. Life has really turned around for me as I have a lot more confidence and much more to live for! Thanks to all who supported me with a reply in past threads and this one. Here is a picture that I made today.
  5. Wtf. 16% always and 28% somtimes??? :mad2: Holy shit, people, have some self control. This eliminates the use of the damn lap band! You have to really be trying to mess up the lap band "diet" if you're always drinking while eating. Don't drink while eating! Only before!

    100lbs. gone forever! :D

Well for now, ill say: -Dont freak out about the liquids phase. Just always have a bottle of Water or something with you and it will keep you filled as long as you are drinking frequently. -When you start exercising remember to always do 25+ minutes of cardio (if you are at a gym) and then start your workout (lifting or whatever). Finishing with cardio as well is a good idea too. That's it for now, off to the gym! If you have any questions, Ramone, dont be afraid to send me a PM.

Kirkland, WA. 10 min drive to Seattle. You? You need to go through a psych evaluation? Why? I didnt have to go through any of that, but then again I went to Mexico for my surgery.

Thanks! Did you just get your band? You are beautiful already! I am sure you will be extremely successful with the band.

If you need any tips, let me know. P.S. - I had some work done on my other arm today (left arm tat not shown in pics). Only about half done but it cost me $430 including the tip. Looks good though I think. If anyone is interested, I guess I could toss up some tat pics. :tt2:

Attached another pic. (updated first post) Please excuse the wet part of my shirt. I just got home and ravagely chugged a bottle of Water. Most of it made it in my mouth. D: Does anyone hate how you need to use HTML in the posts? Or is it just me? Damn linebreaks!

It makes me feel really good and definitely makes me want to work even harder to reach my goal. Thanks so much for saying such nice things and I wish everyone the best of luck losing weight as well. I'll add another pic in about 3 1/2 hours. Tim

  12. Hello everyone. I was banded July 28th. Currently my band is 2.5cc/4.0cc. Since then I have lost 102lbs. Pre-op highest was 310lbs. Now I am 208lbs. I go to the gym for about an hour 4-3 days a week. Life is pretty good right now for me. Here is a picture of me 6 weeks post-op. Here is me in January at ~234lbs: Here is me now, 8 months post-op. 'nother picture: I've been eating those Odwalla bars lately. On weekends they make a great breakfast and dinner and on weekdays I have one after work and that fills me for a few hours. Any comments appreciated.

    diet soda

No! Dont drink any carbonated products! Doctors believe (dont think its proven yet) that it stretches your new stomach!!! If you need the taste, leave them out till they are flat. You wouldnt want to risk your surgery would you?
