I had the great idea that I was going to have my surgery on Friday and go back to work on Monday. I have a desk job so I figured I would be good to go. Well I ended up taking off the next week. I slept alot the first 3 days and wearing clothes around my incision areas was difficult. When I went back to work the next week I was ok. I did have alot of gas pains in my shoulder and that took about a week to go away. I also had a tubaligation and it was only one incision. The lap band was 5 incisions, so it is a bit different. I was banded on 12/27/13. I am doing well except for shoulder pain all day. I have tried walking, heating pad, ice packs with no luck. Any advice?

Hello, my surgery date is December 27th. I would really like to hear how you both did during the days after your surgery. I am having mine done on a Friday and going back to work on Monday. What are your thoughts on returning to work so early. I have a desk job. Cant wait to hear your stories!
