I am tired of being Chubby! I know this weight isnt good for me and my knees. Your right, Holidays is no excuse not to follow what the Dr wants me do. I will call my Dr's office and make sure I know what he wants me to do. -
By going to the support group, you might get the chance to meet someone else who may want Lap Band Surgery and you can share your story with them.

I am nervous about the Psychiatric exam I will be taking on the 29th. I don't know what to expect. Can you please give me an idea what it will be like. Is it hard to pass?

I am going to going to get the cardiac clearance tomorrow. I am sure it will be just fine. Some of my friends are realizing I am serious about wanting Lapband. A few of them are trying to be more supportive. -

The Surgeon required a Clearance from my Cardiologist, saying my heart is healthy enough to go through surgery. -

Yeah! I had my Cardiac clearance approved! One step closer towards surgery. Hearing some negative feed back from a close friend. I wasn't expecting that! I wish she understood why I feel like I am stepping the right direction. I hope she will be more supportive once she reads the email I sent her! -
What the other people are looking at, is that I have lost 10 lbs since March by just watching what I eat. That is why they think I can do this on my own. But I got about to 100 lbs more. I cant lose that much weight without help. Why cant they see that?

I have been able to lose weight on my own. But I don't see me being able to get where I should weigh. Those people i have talked to, says I can lose what I need to without surgery. I disagree. That is why I saw a Weight Loss Surgeon. I wish they knew how chubby feels like, I do.

It sounds like you made a healthy choice for you. I am so happy for you. We have our own challenges to deal with. I wanted a support system for me when no one around me is being supportive. I am grateful I found this site. Weight Loss Surgery going to be alot of hard work, but I think it will be worth it when I go look at myself down the road.
