found a loophole so I could drink vodka and grapefruit juice. . I take a prilosec before and I am able to drink alcohol just like before.. so I have been drinking for the past week and gained back 2lbs. I have decided to stop drinking since it defeats the purpose of me trying to be successful with my wls. So disappointed in myself that I let it get out of hand. I have been under some stress lately and it was a poor way to cope. Tomorrow is a new day and another opportunity to get back on track.

Not sure if it's just me but i have been nibbling food and eating it a week and 4 days post op i have had no problems with anything i have ate... obviously it's just a bite here and there but i was told I'd get sick if i ate anything so can anybody give me there experience on this...

Hi Pinky! Don't worry. I do not have any off the problems that I was told about. If I eat too much or too fast it bothers me, but other then that there is no issues. Do not worry about it. I stressed about it a lot and it gets you nowhere. Just be careful not to eat too much or the wrong stuff. Just because you can does not mean you should. Hang in there and count yourself lucky!

Started eating full liquids per my clinics orders and tried cream of chicken soup which was causing the diarrhea. I'm drinking almost too easily for being fresh out of surgery and no gas pains from surgery. It does mess with your mind that maybe they didn't do a tight boogie. It a head game in the beginning.

I had the same issue. Can eat and drink almost too well; I was worried I had already stretched my stomach or that something was not done right. I am 2 months post-op and still think about that when I see others that have issues. Just count yourself as one of the lucky ones and be glad recover is going good!

So maybe 30 minutes of The Biggest Loser Power Walking (and sprinting) DVD was a bit too much for me! I will pay for this......
