I'm new here and haven't yet discussed this surgery with my doctor. But I'm very overweight and in the last 3 years have decided to get healthy. Well, I was both a success and a failure. I've lost 100lbs and gained back nearly 100lbs. I feel like I would've been better off if I had just stayed the same. I'm 41 and have been very lucky health wise - no high blood pressure, no high sugar etc. Well, after 3 years of dieting and working out...I feel like my luck has run out. My body hurts, I snore now...yeah, LOUD! haha. I am winded doing the most mundane things.....I'm over this! Anyone ever got on the scale after a kick ass work out and lost weight and felt light as a feather, even though you were still 300lbs....well, If I could bottle that feeling I think I'd be okay. But alas......I cannot. I'm an emotional eater and a person that eats out of boredom.........I am not looking for a quick fix...but I am looking for something that will help my successes stick!! I want to keep the weight off.......is this the right surgery for me?
