I had my Lap Band Surgery in 2001, initially lost 30 kilos. Gained back 20kilos back. I had a lot of trouble with band being too tight and suffered with vomiting. After a few years now developed bowel leakage for which I am having tests done for. It has been very uncomfortable and I now have to eliminate certain foods from my diet.

Has anyone out there had trouble with leaking bowel? regards Marylyn

Iam having a procedure on Thursday to see whats going on. Not sure. Thanks for replying. I will keep in touch and let you know. I have had to change my diet. I don't seem to be able to eat dairy, meat, some tuna, it gets stuck in my throat a sophicus. can't spell it. Also vomiting. I had fluid taken out and that part is better, just the bowel leakage. Quite embarassing at times. I am off all dairy, red meat, and carb rich foods, no tea or coffee. Only warm water or water in general. anyone have any problems like this.
