  1. I woke up in the middle of the night (3am) and needed to cough badly. I called my mama in to help me suppress the cough but my chest was spasming (is that how you spell it?) so much she said I just had to have one proper cough. I coughed. And that lead to two additional coughs. Never in my life have I been in so much PAIN! I actually started crying and holding my belly it was so painful! It took about 20 minutes to calm down and get back into bed. I can't take deep breaths at the moment but I feel better lying down.. Should I see the doctor in the morning?

    October Bandsters- How The Heck Are Ya?

    I was banded on the 19th I was really good with exercising until I got sick (meningitis). I've finally gotten over it but I'm struggling with getting back on the horse exercise wise. I tried getting on the treadmill but could only go for about 15 mins... any advice/inspiration? I don't want to just rely on the smaller portions to lose the weight and I'm a bit scared of gaining as I move onto the solid foods.

    4 days post-op

    Hey all I've just reached week 2 and the first week of liquids was really boring! Having Breakfast drinks (like up & go) really did help though and different flavours of iced tea too! With broth and cream of chicken I added extra spices to change them slightly Oh, and fruit flavoured (not dairy, but ike a calippo) ice cream is allowed I've been enjoying different pureed fruits and am also becoming best friends with my liquidiser!! Blending up actual chicken and veggies makes the difference, trust me

    Hahaha I gad to Vickie! Only 4 teaspoons and I wasn't hungry anymore either! Loving these new smaller portions

    I had blended/ watered down pasta last night.. I'm only day 6 but I was dying for something and decided to take the chance! Waited for the pain but there was none! Still sticking to liquids though.. That was just to break the monotony.
  9. Same thing has been happening to me! Haven't had the feeling of "busting" even if I don't go at all during the day so, like you, I just sit on the toilet and have a marathon weeing session hahahaha

    Post op Exercise

    What kind of exercise is alright to do in the weeks after the op? I use the Nike NTC app 4 times week at the moment but should I just stick to walking/running after my op? And how long until I can get to more rigorous exercise (jumping, Zumba, medicine ball stuff etc)? I just want to hit the ground running and don't want to rely only on the smaller food intake

    No, I haven't told them! I just thought it would be the same for everyone else's other would be no need... Hopefully it's just pre op nerves!
