My abdominal wall was thicker than expected. He had to use a larger tool. My incision is bigger . Other than that everything went well.

Well day after surgery. Feeling pretty good. I had one minor complication during surgery but all is good. Has anyone else had a problem getting the 60 grams of protien down the first week?

Thank you everyone. Its good to hear most of you were scared at one point. I am going thru with it cause no food is more important than my life. I want to be here to see my little girl grow up. Ok. This might seem silly to some but im so scared something might go wrong. The stomach erosion really scares me. Im scared of not being able to eat anything with out pain. I know if I do right I will succeed but did any one else have the same fears. ? If you have been banded for a while (year or years) would you do it again ?

Im getting banded this friday. im Nervous too. I dont have to do all liquids untill wendsday them its 7 weeks liquids after that. Its strange how different all the docs are. This site too has been helpful but also scary. As someone mentioned that everyone has second thoughts with a life changing decisions. Good luck !

Me too. Good luck. What kind of diet are u on? Im on 1 protien drink and 2 lean cusine meals a day nothing more. Then all liquids 2 says prior to surgery.

Are you guys staying in the hospital. Where im at its an out patient procedure.

New here. Doc just told me about this app yesterday. .. finally getting the dandy bandy on oct 25 . On my second day of the diet. Ill start all liquids on the 23. im excited nervous scared and hopeful at the same time. Im 29 yrs old 310 lbs on 7 meds all for b.p ... im estatic my insurance company finally approved me. Anyone have second thoughts ?
