Hi I am suppose to be banded Oct 29 but my doc has tried to get me to do the RYGB instead and I kinda torn....

Are you having the Band? My doc says one week liquids for the band and RYG, why are you doing 2 weeks? Just curious?

Hi All!!! Okay well my date changed when I went into my Doc's office. The date is Oct 29th and I do not have all my items and my Doctor has convienced me to change to the Mini RYGB. I am scared, should I change? He says the mini will help me acheive my weight loss but sigh, I am so scared.

Hi all, I am approved and scheduled the first week of Nov but do not have the exact date until my bloodwork appointment Nov 17. Wow I am so scared and now I am reading about hair loss. Someone give me some strength!!!

Hello Everyone! I am pre-op looks like my surgery date will be the first of November. My surgeon is going on vaca and they are unsure what day. Just a few days ago, I found this website and have been reading everything because I am scared. Alot!! This is the first I have heard of hair loss because of the lapband. Is this the norm or a select few. i am already scared of having the surgery now I will lose my hair.. Maybe I should just try another diet. Sigh. Any advise would be great.
