[size=4][color=rgb(0,0,0)][font='Times New Roman']My name is Kyle K. I had my surgery on November 30th 2012. It was the best decision I have ever made, it has helped my health, both mentally and physically. I peaked at 467 lbs, with that much weight and my previous injuries from High School football, my back could not handle it and I was basically bed bound for most of the day and only able to walk very short distances. It had gotten so bad that I couldn’t even sit up long enough to make the ride from Warner Robins to Macon for my appointments. At that point I was on thirty six different medications, every doctor I talked to told me I needed to make a change or I wasn’t going to be alive for very long. Today I weighed in at 314 lbs. I’ve lost over 150 lbs, I can walk without support or a cane, I only take one medication when I wake up in the morning, I look and feel so much better, I have a life again. I can hang out with my friends without feeling like a burden. For the first time in over two years I was able to visit family out of state. I know I still have a long way to go but I am glad that Dr. Bagnato and his staff at Palmyra Surgical are on my side celebrating with me for every pound I lose. One of the greatest feelings I’ve ever had was being able to walk back in to their office and not have to use a wheelchair or cane!!!![/font][/color][/size]
