How soon after getting a tummy tuck can you drive or how soon after did you drive. Telly you look great, I also have a consultation tomorrow with Dr. Romero to get a tummy tuck and a boob job in June (I have to wait till my kids are out on vacation).

How exciting for you, god bless you and your baby. I had a baby back in April 06 and only half my fill taken out from 2.2 to 1.1 and I only gained 23 pounds.

My son is 6 months and I breast feed for 3 with no problem and I had a fill 6 weeks after he was born. I use to suppement some of my meals with the Ensure (for pregnant and nursing mothers) drinks just to make sure that I had enough vitamins.

Telly you lost a large amount of weight in a short time, maybe we call talk so you can knock some motivation into my head. I just had a baby but I had my surgery last year 01/05 and I was 243.5, my son was born in April of 2006 and I am barely about 190ish or so. I wish I can motivated my self and continue my journey like you have.

Telly, Is there other things you planning on getting with this doctor??? I am interesed in know about the breast agmentation or breast left, if you have gathered any information from this doctor can you share it!! Thanks

I am sorry that you had a terrible experience being pregnant and lossing your band. I also have a band baby and thank goodness I didn't have any problems my son what born 04/14/06 and I only gained 23 pounds the entire pregnancy.

Would anyone go to Mexico for any cosmetic surgery???

:help: I don't know if anyone read my post a few days back about having a hard time restarting my journey after having well I really thought about it and I have decided to go and try out my diet doctor that I did 2 years ago and lost 50 pounds on with a lot of work (which I gained a year later and then decided to do the surgery), I am going to try diet pills for a week or 2 just to get me started on the weight loss again. I feel weird about doing this but has anyone ever tried this??? Am I doing wrong??? I think it will help me not be as hungry while I get use to eating like a bandster again.:clap2:

I had my baby normal but last month on the 21st I got my tubes ties and they did it like a c-section so I am 4 weeks out and I need about 2 more before I can work out. Thank you so much for your advice and I really appreciate you taking your time and replying to my post.

I did get a fill 6 weeks later so I am at 2.0 and have been able to eat okay the last 3 weeks but right after my fill I was on soft foods and liquids mostly because I coudn't really eat. I am sure if I start posting again and reading all the posts it should get me started but I am still recovering from having a baby and being back at work (oh I also have 2 older boys ages 11 and 6 and I am a soccer mom).

I had a natural birth. This was also my last I got my tubes tied so that I can continue with my goal of 30 pounds by January, but it's hard since I can't seem to get back in track. I need to find me a band buddy to get back in the groove of things.

mamabear your story sounds like if I would of been typing it: I got my band January 2005 (243.5 lbs), became pregnant in August and my son was born in April 2006. I got an unfill at 8 weeks of my pregency and was fine the entire pregancy. I didnt gain any weight until my 8th month and by the time I delivered I had gained a total of 23 pounds. For some reason I had no appetite during my entire pregnancy and I also did not get morning sickness (maybe I throw up about 4-5 times) Six weeks after his birth I went to have a fill and I started my weight loss again, it has been very slow (2 weeks after delivery I went down to 206) I am now at 192 and it has been very hard to restart but I am doing it slowly. Thankfully my band was never in any harm but I was very scared the entire time thinking that I could loss it.

I just had a baby 3 months ago and I had to get an unfill when I found out that I was pregant. My start weight when I found out that I was pregnant was 204 and I went up to 228 and I am 3 months out and I am 197. Don't get a fill, dieting when you are pregnant isnt good for the baby. I was filled to 2.2 cc and took some out to 1.1 and I could still eat very little, it also helped that I never craved anything and if I did I could'nt eat it. E-mail me if you have any questions.

I am currently 28 weeks pregnant and I had band surgery back in 01/07/05 and found out I was pregnant back in August, I was so upset because I was already down from 243.5 to 203 but as of today I have only gained 14 pounds which is great and I know feel better about being pregnant. I also had severe ms with my other 2 boys but none with this one, I can't wait to have my baby.

I am 25 weeks pregnant and have only gained 10 pounds, I also had a partial unfill back in September from 2.2 cc to 1.2 cc and I can eat but at times I eat something that reminds me my band is still their. With my first I gained 50 pounds so my band has done wonders!! I would'nt change it for the world and I will be getting a fill as soon as I can after I deliver. Esmeralda EDD 04/17/06

I posted the same question on other bandster groups and no one else has had any problems, where was your port located. I am so afraid of having that problem and then having to pay out of pocket because I was a self paying patient!!! Good luck.

Hi guys: I have not posted for a while but I told you guys a while back that I was pregnant well I am due 04/19/06, I know there might not be alot of people that can answer any of my questions but my last fill was back in 07/16/05 I was up to 2.2 cc then back in 9/3/05 I needed an unfill because I wasn't able to eat at all well I am now to 1.1 cc (yeah they took half my fill) well since then I have not gained but 1 pound and I am know 11 weeks almost 12 my question is what happens to the port, when I lay down you can feel it as if it was right on the top of my skin, can it get disconnected as my tummy gets bigger, I still have more than half way to go!! Can anyone answer my question?? Thanks!!

Wow that sounds like it would be painfull!! Have you had it fixed?? Who did your surgery??

Hi everyone, I posted a few weeks ago asking questions about people being banded and being pregnant well I was just asking for future references and thats if I was going to have one more child and guess what happened yesterday...I took 2 home pregancy test and both are positive!!!!! I almost had a heart attack and I still can't believe it, I am going to go in about 1/2 an hour to a clinic that does blood tests and give you results right away to make sure that I am. I am so scared since my second pregnancy was such a nightmare!!!!

It's funny becuase a cousin of mine just found out she is also pregnant but she is due in February, in my family there is always 2 or 3 pregnant people at the same time. I will find out if I need an unfill becuase I want to have a healthy baby, (hopefully a girl I already have 2 boys 10 & 5).

We were broken up for a month and then we decided that we had 2 years invested so we where going to try again and then this, he has no children so he is so excited, I on the other hand I am more freaked out about the whole thing but hey as time goes by I will get over it. I am also afraid of messing up my band!!! I will tell my kids after my first doctors appointment next week. Thanks everyone for your good advice I really need it today!!!

I just came back from the clinic and it's positive, I am 4 weeks pregnant with a due date of April 19!!! I am so scared and I still can't believe it, I was already 42.5 pounds down and I had 40 more to go!!!
