We are considering 2 girls and a guy its his fantasy but I am okay with it.

This is some thing that my boy friend and I have considered but it is scarey to actually do it. (havnt yet)

Eeesdrop, Have you had any fills yet or what do you think is the reason you have not lost any weight yet?? I am an old bandster I was banded back in Jan 2005 if anyone would like to talk for advice or just for support I would be willing to answer questions or meet.

Sorry Katibugs I kind of took over you thread, but this hits home hard and it angers me to see that other people also go through the same things as me. Sorry!!!!!

Its true that it affects other relationships because with my current boyfriend I am constantly telling him how big I am, how cloths looks funny on me, I also don't like when guys give me compliments I take them the wrong way. I don't even allow him to really see be when we are intimate because I don't think I look good, its really hard to except yourself when you already know you have a weight problem and someone you really love tells you "I am embarrased by you because your big". On the other hand my ex know is when this lady who is short, fat and ugly and every time he calls me he asks for barbie, that really makes me mad because I feel like he is making fun of me.

Where would you start???

This situation is so similar to what I went through, I use to notice after my 1st son that my husband was very different with me, when he meet me I was 180 and during my pregnancy went up to 230 after my son was born I went from 200 to 245 up and down all the time, then one day I asked him why he didnt take me out and he told me straight out he was embarrased of me because I was fat, that did it I was out the door and that is one things I can't never forgive him for, shortly after we divorced and later I remarried but it also didnt work out because my second husband didnt want me to loose weight so in 01/2005 I had my surgery (still married) went through a pregancy (delivered 04/2006) then a seperation (07/2007) and finally my cosmetic surgery in Feb 2008. At my largest I was 258 today I am 152 and thanks to my husband I still can't except my weight and I still hate him for what he did to me mentally. I am learning to cope with it but its hard especially because I married very much in love with that man but my love quickly turned to anger. I can not except for someone to treat me like that I have to much pride.

Mine iron was down to a 9 also but I can't take supplements they give me terrible stomach aches and make me want to throw up.

I also got pregnant 8 month into my journey and I was very upset more because I was being selfish about the weight gain but things worked out after wards, I only gained 23 pounds which I lost 2 weeks after delivery plus more. It did take me about a year to re-evaluate myself and get back into it but that the great thing about the band you can continue where you left off with the proper adjustment. Enjoy it and worry about it later, thats the mistake I made I was upset the whole time that afterwards I felt really guilty about not wanting to be pregnant. Good luck.

Its so true how we can put ourselves down so much, I am at 153, I already had my tummy tuck, breast lift with inplants and almost at my goal and I always have something to complain about, I feel that I still look fat and my arms are nasty with all the extra skin, there are times I look in the mirror and I see the old me and I can't seem to except who I am now, the compliments come and go and I take them the wrong way because I don't feel like what they tell me I look, my boyfriend tells me that I have to learn to love my self because I don't.

I have the same problem, I had a physical in Feb of this year and mine was at a 11 (normal 12-15) so back then I had a little anemia and 2 weeks ago I went and they said it was worse I was at 9.4, the doctor also said I needed supplements but I can't take them, Iron makes my stomach hurt so much and it makes me feel like I need to throw up. I will try eating more but lately I have no appetite.

I had Doctor Kuri as my doctor and he is the one that does my fills, great doctor, great experience no regrets, hey if your going to have problems it can happen any where you go, also this doctor is more experienced than he ones here in the US. But make sure you do your research don't let anyone pick for you its a personal thing. Good luck.

I had a band baby back in April 06 and my band had 2.2 cc in it so at 9 weeks I had half removed and was left with 1.1 cc after I was really luck that I only gained 23 pounds the entire pregnancy. Good luck

When I went to see some doctors at the time that I was ready for my plastic surgery 2 of them recommended a lbl but that scared me so I went to a third surgeon which recommended an extended tummy tuck and I am happy with the results, the recovery time is much less than with a lbl and I have a 2 year old I could'nt be out of commission for a long time. I had 2 kids before the band and 1 after. When ever you want to meet just e-mail me and I can give you my phone number so we can get togther.

Its hard but if you are going to be happy its all worth it, you can't spend your life living with someone your not happy with. Good luck

I don't eat very much so I am almost sure its from my diet but I really don't get hungry and I am so bad at taking vitamins, since I was pregnant with my son a couple of years ago I get grossed out with any types of vitamins, thanks for responing.

Hi I was banded back in Jan 2005 I am very close to goal and I already went through my plastic surgery back in Feb of this year. The one thing that I have now is back in Feb. my doctor told me I was slightly anemic so I tried to eat better well I don't get hungry so half the time I just pick at my food, I am not tight I just don't get hungry, well the last 2 weeks I have been extremely tired and I have been getting head aches so I went to the doctor and he told me that my anemia has worsen, he said that normal is 14 - 15 and mine back in Feb was 11 and now its at a 9, well he told me to take vitamins and try back in a month to see how it is then but I really feel that I need somthing for it now, I feel sick. Has anyone had something like this since they have been banded???

Mine did to but after I started lossing weight it was getting worse because he has self esteem issues. I am so happy by myself.

I am in the middle of my divorce, my husband was 5 years younger than me but he was very bad about not wanting me to lose weight he seems to like chubby women which is okay but I wasnt chubby anymore so after I lost most of my weight I kicked him to the curb and then 7 months later I got my plastic surgery. The best thing I could of done.
