Good for you! My BMI is borderline but I have medical issues so hopefully the insurance compay will accept surgery.
How long did the whole precess take you?
J
I have met with the psychologist, the nutritionist and the surgeon. I am having an upper gi next week. That will be the end of the medical tests needed.
I have started to write down everything I eat. My biggest challenge right now is the exercise. It is a matter of getting my butt out the door!
How about you, where are you at?
J
As I follow this Lap Band path, my next step is meeting with the program psychologies to see if I am okay for the surgery. What does this involve? Are there tests or what?
Thanks...
I went to an informational meeting yesterday for the lap band. My BMI is 37.5. I was told that since I am very close to the cut off (35) I may not get accepted.
Do they have any idea how hard I have worked to get it to 37.5. My problem seems to be quantity or servings. A lap band would help with this. Is there anyone on here who
Has had a low BMI to begin with?
Thanks for any help-
Jane
