I hopped back on the bandwagon ... all is good :biggrin1:

Ewwww ... fish is gross! Seafood makes me gag :biggrin1:

Throw some chili in the blender, might need to add a bit of water to thin it out ... then heat it in the microwave for a minute or so.

I didn't know I could change it ... I'll have to figure out how Thanks you two! :biggrin1:

had my first "stuck" experience today...
BlooEyez replied to Saintluver's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Just wait it out and either the food will go through and the pain goes away ... or it all comes back up. Whatever you do, don't drink anything because as you said, it only makes it worse! I made that mistake the first time I experienced "stuckage" -
Pizza sounds yummy! :hungry: Don't be so hard on yourself Jackie! I had 2 pieces of birthday cake on Monday, and another on Tuesday ... like you I was beating myself up over it. I was feelin' guilty and ashamed of the fact that the cake (along with some Halloween candy) made me gain. But the wonderful thing about the band is we can still enjoy the foods we like, just in moderation. If the pizza went down with no problems I wouldn't worry too much ... at least you didn't PB and damage your band. You know and recognize the fact that you're due for a fill and you're getting it Monday ... You are not failing! We're all entitled to some food outbursts once in awhile.

Daily Plate says I can eat 1900+ calories a day and lose 2 lbs a week ... are they nuts??

Tomorrow I am making my way down to TJ for my 3rd fill ... Last time I went was Oct. 20th and after driving an hour and a half down there, waiting an hour or so for the fill and doing some shopping on El Revolucion (all on an empty stomach by the way) it took over 3 hours to get back across the border because customs was so slow. Boy my tummy was growlin' like mad! All that trouble and I paid $100 for a measley .5cc fill ... now I'm goin' back to do it all again

My son didn't pass the written test for his permit earlier this week ... part of me was relieved! The thought of my baby boy driving scares the bejeebers outta me ... I just don't wanna let him grow up! But I remember back when I was his age and how getting a permit/license was a big deal so then I felt sorry for him because he was so bummed ... He's going back to try again next week

Thank you for your words of wisdom IndioGirl aka Food Police! :biggrin1: I did good yesterday, except dinner ... had KFC, never realized a 2 pc. meal would be so high in calories! (of course, I didn't bother to check until after I had eaten) :faint: Never again will I get one of those! Good news is I've lost 2 of the 3 lbs gained and I'm getting another fill tomorrow! :clap2: Hope everyone has a great weekend

Hello Lucky#7s! I'm in need of some Bandster support as I feel like I'm in a downward spiral at the moment. It started right after Halloween with the leftover chocolate (my weakness) ... then my youngest son's birthday was a few days ago, out of habit I ordered my favorite kind of cake (white cake, buttercream frosting, custard filling) ... so here 4 Reese's PBC's, 3 snack size M&M packs and 3 pieces of cake later I have gained 3 lbs. I feel absolutely horrible and so ashamed of myself. I was doing so good for the 3+ months since my banding and now I find myself binging. I figured I definitely need another fill and am going back down to TJ to get one this weekend. The Halloween candy is hidden somewhere, my oldest son finished off the cake this afternoon (thank God!) so hopefully now I can get my mind out of the sugar gutter and get back on track. Maybe I should throw away my peanut butter as I too have a habit of eating it by the spoonfuls

I've been using fitday since July but I checked out that link to dailyplate and all I can say is WOW! I like it much better than fitday :biggrin1:

Couldn't have said it better myself ... Ditto to that!!

Me too :biggrin1:

I've found the "Tyson" brand chicken nuggets to be very good ... and yes, they come out alot better if they're baked rather than nuking them in the microwave.
-
Same here ... after snacking on leftover Halloween candy, I also had some of my son's birthday cake. The past 2 days I've made horrible food choices and feelin' pretty damn bad about it :faint:

I was once a bread lover ... Last night for the first time since my surgery, I tried bread. I made myself a sandwich ... had a hard time getting the first half down so I gave the second half to my husband. I took my time and chewed well, didn't get any major "stuckage" but was a little uncomfortable. I learned my lesson ... no more bread for me!

Pre-Op I started testing different protein powders to find which tasted the best, because I am really finicky when it comes to tastes. Once I tasted the Unjury, I knew my search was over! Their chocolate tastes just as good as a glass of chocolate milk. Their vanilla is good too! www.unjury.com is the site, you can order sample sizes to try them out for yourself before committing to a large container.

I didn't buy candy to pass out because I didn't want to deal with trick or treaters (and partly because I didn't want chocolate goodies in my house, too tempting!) ... but then my annoying MIL showed up with bags full of candy so we ended up having to deal with the little beggers anyway ... after all was said and done (and there was candy left!) I realized I had enough calories to spare and I allowed myself 1 Reese's PBC and 1 "fun size" pack of PB M&M's ... although it was a small amount compared to what I would have eaten before, I was satisfied (especially after not having any chocolate for months!) ... I stayed under my calorie limit for the day and the next morning the scale still went down. I agree with Wheetsin, anything in moderation is OK
