My 2 little "Dennis The Menace's" are 3 & 5 :biggrin2: My 5 year old starts kindergarten tomorrow ... he's all excited about it and I'm a nervous wreck :tt2: I keep track of my intake on TheDailyPlate.com ... I TRY not to go over 1200 calories a day (doesn't always work though ) What do you mean you haven't gotten it right? Looks like you're pretty much halfway to your goal ... CONGRATS! I've never tried ground turkey for anything although I've always heard it's leaner & healthier ... maybe I should give it a try :crying: Today ~ Breakfast ~ Atkins Creamy vanilla shake Snack ~ 1oz Jalapeno Smokehouse Almonds lunch ~ salad (1 pkg Buddig Turkey, 1/4 C Colby Jack Shredded cheese, 1/2 Medium Tomato, 2 T Ranch Dressing) Snack ~ 2-3 T Skippy Roasted Honey Nut Peanut Butter (I was craving ) dinner ~ 2 Scrambled eggs w/ Light Cream Cheese & Sliced Avocado

Vanilla Peanut Butter Protein Shake (1 C Milk, 2 T Skippy Honey Nut Peanut Butter, 1 Scoop Vanilla Unjury ... blended in the bullet w/ ice)
  13. I found the Parmesan Meatball recipe ~~> here Today I am making Mexican Meatballs which I found ~~> here Yes! I got it cut last night ... I haven't quite figured out whether or not I like it yet ... I have extremely thin hair (which sucks) and I've tried playing around with it a couple times today but have ended up more frustrated with it than anything :tt2:

  16. Here I am bein' a chicken sh*t about cutting 4-5 inches off ... you cut 13 inches? :ohmy: Do you miss it? I just want something easy, I have 2 little "Dennis The Menaces" who need constant supervision and no time to mess with my hair LOL I did and I found pix to print ... thanks for the tip! Now let's hope my hair guy can get it right this time :smile2: I wanna know too!!

    Exactly! Going back to that last time I was at Taco Bell (waiting on these people to get my tortilla-less burrito right :thumbup:) I was standing there looking up at the menu and talking to my Mom telling her that pre-band I would order a meal and then get a couple tacos on the side and this & that etc ... and it just amazed me that now I couldn't even eat that much if I tried which is a GOOD thing! I love my band ... by far the BEST thing I've ever done for myself But yeah definitely don't deprive yourself of your favorite things ... moderation is the key!

    You don't necessarily have to give them up for good, I certainly haven't. Before I was banded, my family and I would eat fast food 4-5 times a week :ohmy: ... now maybe it's once or twice and I just "modify" my order (yeah the people taking the order get pissy with me but oh well) Last time we went to Taco Bell, I ordered an all beef burrito and asked them to keep the tortilla and just dump the insides into a bowl. (They were extremely confused by this and it took them 3 times to get it right ) When we go to Wendy's I get chili (double check for fingers :frown: LOL) Any other burger place I either get chicken nuggets or a burger and just remove the bun. So it's possible to eat fast food with the fam and not feel left out

I have a hair appointment Friday and I'm really thinking about getting a cut similar to yours, actually been trying to find pics on the net so I can print them out and take them to my stylist so he knows exactly what I want (many times I've walked out of there looking nothing like what I wanted :ohmy:) Today ~ Breakfast ~ Atkins Dark chocolate Royale shake Snack ~ 1oz Beef Jerky lunch ~ 3.5oz Homemade Parmesan Meatballs ... so yummy! dinner ~ Attempted more meatballs but they didn't want to stay down this time so I will be having another shake later :frown:

    I agree with Rae ... do what works for you. I myself drink an Atkins shake for breakfast most mornings. :eek:
