Hey Annette is that you that was in the room with 3 beds. You were in the bed nearest the window. Its Alesha here from the bed when you come in the door. Im getting my first fill tomorrow. I SO SO need it. Im eating like a sow. So how are you getting on? How much have you lost? I have only lost a few pounds and even at that ive put on weight on my holidays, so i think im back to where i started. Im freaked out but hopefully my fill will give me restriction, it bloody better actually.:angry

Your right kermit, im in Spain now, waiting for my laundry to be washed. I am so pissed off right now because i could eat a whale too. And also one of my wounds is infected. i dont know whether to visit the doc over here, it will probably cost me a fortune. My medium sized wouond went a bit green and it now has formed a litlle pinhole and is weeping. Sorry for TMI. My dad thinks i should go the doc but he will probably give me antibiotics and then no Sangria for the rest of the week. Boo hoo. How are you getting on.

Hi Guys Just back from having my check with Dr Manaceu. I have lost 4 kgs, which is 8.8 lbs. thats in 14 days, not too bad although i was expecting more. I was a bold girl alot of the time, eating choccie:hungry:. I didnt get a fill as im only over the op two weeks. I wanted one but I will go by his advice as he does know best. Im off on holliers next Sun so that why i seen him so early post op. HOw are you Kermit??Hope your feeling good

Hey Kermit!! How are you?? This thread moves so fast i cant keep up with it. How are you getting on? Do you have any pain around your port? I have a bit, its a bit tender to touch. Regarding weight loss im afraid to jump on the scales. I had restriction in the first 3-4 days but now im feeling hungrier on the same amount of food. :help: I also feel very bloated, my trousers that i wore before being banded are very tight. Im off on me holliers in 12 days and I hope the bloatedness goes soon. Im seeing Jerome on Satruday as my 1 month check up falls when I am away. When is your check up?

Hey Donna, How are you doing? Hope you feel good. I had my surgery on Friday and i got home yesterday morning. Felt a bit crapppy yesterday but today is good so far. I have niggly pain at my port site and my left ass cheek is numb from sitting up in bed. I still feel a bit tired so im taking it easy for today. I had porridge for my brekkie, only about 4 table spoons, with a little milk and sugar. I also had a mashed egg with butter. It was yummy. Have you had anything to eat yet???

Hey all. I had my surgery yesterday. Im feeling really crappy. When i first woke from the anaesthetic i was very emotional and in a lot of pain. The anaesthestist gave me two shots of morphine which was reluctant to work but did in the end. Had a crap nights sleep, awake asleep awake....... Discharged this morning and had a nap, lying down, which was a mistake so now i have wind pains in my left shoulder:cry . I got up and made a smoothie, which was ok, actually i need to look u some nice recipes for same. I have horrible pain also at my port site, and i cant take a big deep breath or cough as the port is catching in my rib :help:. But after all the moaning im glad i got this done. I just cant wait for the next few days to be over:amen:

I will be the one in pink pj bottoms and a stripey top. I smoke too so if possible we can go for smokes together. I dont smoke that much but if theres nothing else to to like eat i will be puffing away!!!!!!<br /> <br /> I know what you mean about going home bandless. I went to get my wisdoms out a few years ago and i was all looking forward, in a weird way, to being knocked out. I was so upset when they told me they couldnt put me under coz i was overweight. I think thats in my mind now for tomorrow. they said it was something to do with their protocol, they hadnt got the resources if anything went wrong, and i was in the at risk category...... Blah Blah<br /> <br /> Anywho I will keep an eye out for the frog in blue stripy pyjamas and neglected highlights!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah, i wasnt told either to go on a diet or anything like that before the op, just the usual fast at midnight and be there at 9am.

hey guys. Im new here. My date for surgery is July 27. 5 days away. Im so anxious. I cant believe im actaully going through with this. I want to lose about 60 lbs. Im about 210 at the mo. I have been struggling to lose weight since the birth of my first child. Hes now 8. Im getting banded here in Ireland. Is there anybody out there from Ireland

Hi Donna, i wish i was in Mexico. Im here in wet Ireland. :rain: Anywho lets keep in touch. Are you nervous? I am so nervous, i am thinking of all these things that can go wrong. I was supposed to be banded at the start of September, just after my holidays but when i went to the clinic on Wednesday they said they had a date for next week so i jumped on it. I will have 3 weeks recovery before I go on my holidays so hopefully it will give me a chance to get used to the band before i go on my holidays. Im going to Sunny Spain :whoo: Are you from Mexico or just having the procedure carried out there?
