Hi, Well I had my plication for 7 months. They removed it 7 weeks ago, But till this day I'm still loosing my hair I have huge bold spots that I can't hide no more only if I wear a hat, I started loosing it about 4 months after I had the plication done The Dr.told me it would stop. But it did not, and now that I don't have plication any more it still comes out like crazy. I’m taking Biotin, B12 Vitamins, and using Biotin Shampoo and conditioner but nothing seems to help. My Dr. told me to go to a Dermatologist so I can get Hormones shots on my scalp for hair growth. I think it was because of so much stress with plication complications .I will wait a little more on the Dermatologist maybe. Don’t know what to do

Ok , so I had my plication done at the age of 39. I turned 40 in May of 2011 this was supposed to be my birthday present to myself, I look at some of the members profile and most of you are not telling your age ,Why or why not? Does it matter if we know your age? The reason I ask is that I want to know if this is a middle life crises like my husband calls it, LOL. Why didn’t we do this before when we were younger like in the 30’s or before? I ask myself this all the time.

How do we know to choose a good Dr vs a bad Dr A good Doctor will be honest with you, if asked if he ever had complication or bad expireince and he admits that he did I think that he is good or a least honest. So How do we know witch Doctor to go with? If he has a 100% reputation it makes me wonder if it's true or not,or all the bad reports are not made public.

It looks like you are doing really good.Do you like that protein shakes? I never had them so I'm wondering if they have that after taste.

That is insane,At least you have for years to learn how to eat less,and maybe the body will get used to that.

Wow, Oct.4th is my hubby's birthday Stack up on protein shakes for when you get hangry,Get rid of anything that is tempting in the house because you will get tempted,In the begining lots of chiken broth.If you go outside the US take some broth with you and some protein. And take some loose clothes.Good luck

I'm sorry, I never experience anything like that,and I also had ice cream,but never vomited.It's probably to much sugar for your body.Or maybe you drank it to fast.

Well go with an open mind into it.When you get hangry stick with the Protein shakes or bars ,it will help you. Good luck with your surgery,let us know how it goes.

What do the Dr's. tell you? Ask them are they sure this was not caused by the plication,can they say it for sure or they say "I don't think so" Tell them you need to know and be a 100% sure, Get your point across.Ask them after they do the surgery and you still have the pain,then what?Don't old anything back ,tell them exctly how you feel.You have nothing to loose on the contrary.

I totally understand how you feel,I'm the same way ,but to me another surgery, it scary's me.So I'm not thinking about any surgery right now.

Yep, I know what you mean,I started dieting when I was a teen,I tried it all and I lost the wieght but it would came right back after I stop the diet.I got so tired of it.
