Hello , My name is Liz and I am being banded on the 19th. The only thing I am really anxious about is giving up TAB. I am a TAB addict. Those of you over 40 will probably know what TAB is. Has anyone else had to withdraw from caffeine??? I was thinking of trying caffeine pills for the first week after surgery to avoid extra problems.

Hi..My name is Liz. I am from Waltham. My surgeon is Dr Pequex at St E's. I don't have a surgery date yet but have been thru just about the entire process. I meet with the surgeon again on Tues. and will probably be scheduled after that. Any Waltham people here?? :wink2:

Good evening all. My name is Liz and I am beginning my journey. I had my psych eval and first meeting with the NP at St. Elizabeth's. My BMI is (only??) 35 but I have at least one co-morbidity so I am hoping for approval from BCBS after I meet with surgeon in November. I am scheduled for a ton of preop tests in October. Does anyone have experience at St. E's?? -

I am also new to the process. I had my psych eval and meeting with the NP on Tuesday. All my preop tests are scheduled. Does anyone have any experience with St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Mass? I have at least one possible two co-morbidities so hopefully will be approved after meeting with surgeon. Really enjoy this talk site, it is very educational!! -

:help::help:Does anyone know anything about the programs at St. E's or Emerson. I am trying to decide which one to choose. My BMI is 36 but have diabetes and probably sleep apnea. Glad to see there is a thread for Mass!! -

I am in the beginning of the process. I am trying to find out if anyone knows anything about St. Elizabeth's Hospital or Emerson Hospital. I am trying to decide which program to go with.
