Welcome to bandland!!! Gas pain may get worse before it gets better. Heating pad helps. Follow post-op diet closley so your healing goes well. Buy lots of sugar free pops, they are a lifesaver when you just have to have something. Thats all i can think of and i heard it all here on this site. You will find lots of support here. Donna

I was banded in Mexico four weeks ago and it was great. Very nice hospital and hotel and Dr. Zapata is the best. Loved him. Donna

It does get better . Perhaps you should add some broth and sugar free pop sics. I am 19 days from surgery and have lost 17 pounds so far. I have not had to much of a problem with hunger. Best of luck. Donna -
