I had no real problems with recovery, but i was quite tired the first week. Also gas pains in your shoulder can be a little rough. I would want at least aweek off, but if you have pain meds you should be ok. Congrats on your date. I love my band.

:biggrin1:Hi Jane , I am 54 and have had my band two months. I love it!!!!! I do not have the craving to eat all the time anymore. I have not had any junk food or fast food in two months. I do not eat anywhere near what i used to. I also recovered from surgery very quickly. No problems other than gas pain in my shoulder, and that goes away in a few days. I also feel better than i have in years. Donna :clap2::ranger::whoo:

It really does get better pretty quick Try a heating pad if you get the gas pains in your shoulder. Walk a lot for everything else and drink your liquids. Best of luck. Donna -

I am so glad i went to Mexico. You do not have to jump through hoops for months there and it is much cheaper. My doctor was very nice and the hospital was beautiful. Also only 8000 dollars, airfare and all. Loved it. Donna

Hi I had mine almost two months ago for many reasons. I hated the way i looked, i had trouble putting on my own shoes,ect,ect. It was a great decision for me. I feel great and have lost almost 25 pounds already.I am not very hungry since i had it put in and that makes it so easy to eat right.
