Walk a lot and sip a lot. Heating pad might help with gas pain in the shoulder if you get that. Congrats on your bands, both of you. Donna

Welcome to the site. Sounds like surgery went really well for you. Now starts your new life. You have to help your band by making good choices and exercising. I no longer eat ANY fast food or junk food. The band curbs my appetite enough that i can resist the bad stuff. This is the best thing i have ever done for myself and i mean to make it work for me. Welcome to all of you new folks!!!!! There are so many now it is hard to keep up ! The surgery is pretty simple, so don`t be afraid. You will be a little sore for a few days and may have gas pains. So.... walk, walk, walk, walk, and sip a lot of fluids. I really love my band it curbs my appetite a whole lot and i can not eat much at one time. Best thing i ever did. Donna

Hi Tia and welcome to the site.Skinny people seldom understand our battle with weight. They do not relate. You will find lots of support here. I love........my lap band. It curbs my appetite so much and i can not eat much at one time. Hang in there, it is the best thing i have ever done for myself and worth every penny. I was a self pay in Mexico and paid 8000. Hi! Welcome to the site. I can eat steak just fine if i chew it up well and eat slowly.If you eat right your cholesterol should come down. I know mine has.Once you have the right restriction you are full pretty quick.The band is working great for me. Donna

If you drink lot and lots of water your skin will get better and better. Donna

I got up today and i had gained one pound. I know why tho. I have been really sick all week and have only been to the gym once. For me to lose i have to exercise and track calories. I don`t mind doing this because i have been getting results I will be back in the gym tomorrow. Donna

HI. I exercise regulary and have for the last couple of years. I do not have any stretch marks at all . Can anyone tell me if i am going to have to have PS after i lose all my weight. I can not afford it so i sure hope not. Right now it looks like i will be ok without any surgery, but i do worry about it. Donna:help::cry:guess:whoo:
