Hi to all of you who are about to get your bands. It really does work so try not to worry too much. I don`t have NEARLY the appetite that i had before the band. I have had two fills and did not get restriction until the second one. It was ok tho cause even without restriction i just was not very hungry. Best of luck to all of you and welcome!!! Donna -

I would definitly add some exercise. It really makes a big difference. I did not have to do the pre-op diet and have lost 39 pounds so far. Sometimes i know i eat too much, but with going to the gym five times a week i am still losing. Donna

If you have been sober for a year you know that the most important thing is your attitude. The bands all work. Try to stay positive as you deal with your doctor. He should have had another ap on hand for you. Sorry this happened to you but don`t drink and remember this too shall pass. Donna
