If you do not want the surgery i don`t know how well it would work for you. Has you weight become a health issue for you? Have you told your doctor how you feel? Maybe you should talk to him or to another doctor. Donna

I am in the very same place.I have to be very careful and eat very slow or it does not go down.So i eat a lot of homemade soup. At least it will go down. I do not drink any calories though except my protien drink, once a day. I am fighting head hunger more than anything, i know i am not really hungry. I just miss being able to gobble. lol Donna -

It is amazing how different we all are. I eat 1600 to 1700 a day and still lose 1-2 pounds a week. I do exercise four or five times a week for 40-45 minutes. I would like to cut back some on my calories so I could lose a little faster. Donna

I would say do it together. It is a pretty easy recovery for most so you do not really need someone to take care of you. I live alone and i did fine. If you do it together you will be in the same phase of your diet. If you have small children ,well that is a different matter. Donna -

I can`t binge right now cause i can`t get anything in. I am having a tough time with head hunger right now but when i try to eat all i can get in is a few bites. I know i am a little to tight but i am trying to wait it out. I am hoping if i lose a few more pounds it will loosen up a little. I am drinking my protien drinks and eating homemade soups for now. I just had my third fill and i am a little to tight right now. I have to be very careful what i try to eat right now. I eat mostly soup and jello and applesauce . I will be glad when it loosens up a little. Donna
