Hi becca! My name is Candace and as of saturday I'm 1 month out from surgery. I had all of the same doubts and concerns. Truth be told had they not given me the "I don't care meds" when they did I would have backed out completely. I was so scared! But my procedure went fine. I came out of it all completely at my self and in little to no pain. When there was pain it just tons of soreness. Was is it worth it? Absolutely! I'm down almost 30lbs. I was abt 273 pre op and now I'm in the 240s. However it has been hard and it is a lifestyle change. Everyday I learn something new abt my body. I have really good days and I have really bad days.
