Put me down for 1 hour of exercise daily (could be spin class, walk/run or yard work (like today!) depending on whatever day it is). Where are the BBQ pix???? Can't wait to see everyone! -

Add me for 8 pounds, please, and thanks Ador for being the statistician (sp) this go round! You and Dee are the best for leading these challenges; I can't even keep up with myself, much less anyone else! -

Hi Dee -- My final weigh-in for the BBQ challenge was down 1 pound!. I didn't hit my total goal, but I lost overall so it's all good. I got a slight fill yesterday and I'm back in the saddle! PS Ain't love grand?? You are absolutely glowing in your pictures and in your words! -

Munchk -- Sorry about your sister's job, but hopefully she listen to her big sis and stay nearby for the next job! BTW, someone has abandoned a lab puppy (about a year old) at my sister's house. She wants me to take him, but I think he's growing on her....... labs have a way of doing that, ya know. -

Happy Birthday, Denver!! I'm right behind you, girlie. I'm 48 in September. I'm going to my 30th high school reunion this Saturday night. And next Saturday I'm getting together with my college roommates. I'm so glad Tucker is on the mend. Bless his heart about the ball chasing. Barkley's major ball game days are behind him too, but he still carries around a tennis ball most of the time just for the hell of it. I agree wholeheartedly, Mini! I wish I had done this 10 years ago! I need an apron job, boob lift and bat wings clipped -- maybe one day when I win the lotto. Green! Way to go on your loss this week! I'm with you on your response to Denver's question about letting others in on being banded. Lots of dysfunction in my extended family. My immediate family members know and I plan to keep it that way if at all possible. I have one sister who knows who I didn't plan on telling -- thanks to my son -- and she is prone to spilling the Beans at the drop of a hat. So, I don't know how long it will be a private matter. But until then -- my band, my business. -

Hi Bella -- Sometimes it takes a few fills to get some restriction, you're entering the "bandster hell" stage right now where you've got the band but you're not healed enough to have a fill. Hang tough, girl, you'll start getting fills soon! Mal -- How are things today? Thinking of you and yours. Mini -- Gracie's walks + lap band = a skinny mini! -

I've got 2 years and 10 months on you, and I'm not old so you can't be either! Plus like Deb said 50 is the new 30! AND, sex in your 40's just gets better and better with every year!!!! -

Glad you're back! I had forgotten you said you were going to a conference and was starting to get worried! Don't sweat the increase -- could be sodium intake, could be hormonal, could be the stress of travel -- you are doing great, this is just a short-term bump. Just continue to stay the course and those 5 pounds will leave. You know you can do this Brandy. Look how far you've come!!! You WILL make your goal!! -

Hey Deb, I am so glad Tucker's doing well! Here's a link to the adult liquid Tylenol. Product Detail: Tylenol Extra Strength Adult Rapid Blast Liquid Cherry Flavor from CVS/pharmacy Online Product Store It's to CVS, but probably Walgreens would have the same. As long as you're getting the adult dose of acetominophen in mg, it's all good, whether you're taking the adult, junior, children's or ,heck, even infant drops preparation. You will probably have to take more liquid volume in the products meant for the youngsters in order to get the adult dose. Adults can have 325-650 mg every 4-6 hours in regular acetominophen and 650 -1300 mg every 8 hours in extended release acetominophen. I think there's only 160 mg of acetominophen in the Children's liquid per teaspoon; Infant's is much less -- their dose is figured by weight in kg. I hope I'm making sense. One brand of tasteless protein powder is Unjury, but I'm sure there are others. -

Yay Tucker!!!!!!!!!!! Yay Deb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know you're relieved to get that boy home!!!!!!! (About the ear cleaning -- I had a pair of dashounds about 20+ years ago, one was older and had been neglected before she joined our family. She would clean the younger male from head to toe daily! I think it's the maternal instinct or something. She had been a breeder in a puppy mill and I always thought they must have taken her babies away from her too soon or something. Never could figure that one out really. When the younger one died first, she literally mourned herself to death within a year. They were a wonderful pair!) -

I remember my port area feeling tender for several weeks, too. No more pus from the incision, then? That's good! -

Nora, I'm still thinking about this one. Nothing comes to mind presently, but I'll let you know if I come up with something! I do have more gas now than I did pre-band, but that's a small concession for me (my family may beg to differ).
