So I am on day 7 of my pre op diet and had been doing so well till last night. My head won and I ate dinner. What's really annoying me is it was not my stomach. But I'm not going to dwell on it. Just going to move forward and today I've done wonderful. Seems like weekdays are so much easier bc I'm at work so the next week should be a breeze. I hope. Starting diet I was 304lbs and I am now 297.6lbs. Very happy! -

I do the SAME thing each morning! Always before a shower. Don't want the water to weigh me down hahaha!!! Today..down 8lbs! -

Completely can relate. Amazing how you see why you had no energy, felt like crap and well potty issues. I have felt so good and tonight almost didn't est dinner. Can't believe how this week has been!! -

Today I cried. Twice. At work. In front of everyone. So YES! I will say I'm already sensitive and if you know me well you know me crying can be normal but this was like major tears and it was awful. Thankful for the support of my husband who helped me laugh it off! Today is day 4 for me and SO much better than the last 3. First 2 days were %#$!. 3rd was ok and today I was not even hungry until 6pm! I was impressed! -

I'm on pre op but I do get a meal at dinner. 4oz protein and 1 cup veggies. I did grilled chicken with tomatoes and cucumbers. It works so I'm sticking with it. How are u feeling. -

Absolutely. Each day it gets better. Today was certainly the best! Between 3-5 I seem to be the most hungry. And jello does nothing lol. So I may try to have my lunch shake a little later. But today was great. -

Hey everyone. Pre op diet has been a little rough but I just bought a scale and I'm down 2.6lbs in 2 days!! Only 1.4lbs to go to be under 300!!! My goal from day one was to be under 300 before surgery! So excited! How is everyone else doing. I can't believe it's December and we have people in our group having surgery now!!! -

I know I have seen people mention pre op testing at the hospital like right before surgery. They have not told me what this is ? I have my last appointment with my surgeon on the 12th and do whatever at the hospital afterwards. Anyone know what they will be doing ? -

Got my insurance approval today!!!!! I submitted on 11/25 they approved 11/27!! Now I wish I would have called on Wednesday! I am SO excited. And ZERO is holding me back now! Pre op diet started today! -

Mine is a shake for Breakfast and lunch. With lunch I get a small piece of fruit. dinner is 4 oz lean meat and 1 cup veggies. Can have sugar free popsicles and jello! -

Pretty sure It depends on your Insurance company. Mine says 3-5 days. We submitted last Monday and of course with Thanksgiving. I am hoping to have an answer tomorrow but we shall see -

Hey December Losers! ( and by losers I mean losing weight!) Lol. So I start my pre op diet monday. Any suggestions ?? I get a shake for breakfast breakfast and lunch then 4 oz lean meat/1 cup veggies for dinner. I can have sugar free jello and popsicles too.
