So today makes one week post op plus the pre op 10 diet and I'm down 14 lbs so far!! Woohoo!! Only complication is that I'm apparently allergic to the steri strips they used on my incision sites and my made me itch like crazy! He approved of me taking them off and for Benadryl today so I'm sure it will clear up shortly.

Any post opers having dreams about eating food? Taking huge bites and realizing you shouldn't and waiting for the pain? Seems like after this surgery the min my head hits the pillow I'm out and dreaming already.

I'm three days post op and get to go home this afternoon! The pain wasn't bad my only complaint was a constant headache that we really couldn't get under control.

My surgery was at 1:00 yesterday, it was a lot more pain than what I was expecting but we finally found a good meds mix to keep it under control. Was up walking this morning. Starting to feel better and have had 3 oz of water so far.

Less than 24 hours and counting now!! My surgery is tomorrow at noon!! Still can't believe it's actually happening!

I just made the best mocha shake ever! 1 scoop of Slimfast High Protein Creamy Chocolate, one container chocolate sugar free jello snack pack, 3 pumps of Torani sugarfree coffee syrup and ice! Anyone else have any good ones they've tried?

Just getting done with my pre op physical that included a huge blood draw, EKG and a chest X-ray! Fun times! I'm less than a week out now!

I got mine at The Vitamin Shoppe but it was like $5 a bottle I'm gonna try and find it cheaper online.

Four days into the liquid pre-op diet, it's going pretty good! Enjoying an Isopure Protein Drink now so I know if I will like it after surgery. It's pretty good, I know they say your tastes change after surgery but if I know I like it before then I'm not as worried about lack of choice afterwords. Surgery still set for Sept 3rd, anyone else on liquids yet?

I'm in Omaha, also excited and nervous. I've been saying good bye to my favorite foods this week. I start my pre op liquid diet on Saturday. Do people normally do like a "last meal" kinda thing?!?

I'm scheduled for Sept 3rd too! Woohoo!
