I was looking at the website menu. Subject to change, but the blackened salmon (served with a garden or Caesar salad, seasonal fresh vegetables & your choice of side) sounds like a winner to me. -
Teresa, I have to agree. I now find myself strutting around like I'm America's Next Top Model. :laugh I also braved the cold yesterday evening and did 3 mi. at the track. I'm still waiting on my fingers to defrost.

Ok. weight isn't the only thing I'm losing:rolleyes. I went to the one on Capitol Hill and I know you told me a million times about that on going sale in Clinton. Can't you tell I ran out of my ginko biloba(sp)

Carrie, I had to do something to get me back on track. I gained 11 lbs. in two wks.:dead I didn't think I was eating that much but evidently I've been eating everything that moved (my poor son, he was probably next:nervous ), so now I'm logging everything I eat. So far, so good...I just need to get my exercise in. I love the "On the go" cystal light lemonade. I mix it up leaving it a little sweeter, pour it over crushed ice and put it in the blender and I get a yummy lemonade slushie. -
I gained at my last two weigh-ins, so I'm attempting to get back on track. Wednesday b: slim fast optima (Cappuccino delight) s: 1/2 cup mixed fruit l: lean cuisine meal (baked lemon pepper fish w/broccoli in cheese sauce) s: 1/2 c mixed fruit d: sm. piece of salmon & two crab leg clusters (u made me go to safeway, they are on sale $4.99lb., thanks for the heads up) Water, water, crystal light, water, apple cider & more water all day long Thursday b. slim fast optima (cappuccino delight) l: salmon (of course) & cauliflower d: 2 crab leg clusters and 1 cup pineapples water, water, apple cider, water, crystal light, and more water all day long **I'M NOW ABLE TO DRINK WATER AS I DID PRE-BAND AND I LOVE IT. I've been so bad since last weigh-in that I might not show up 2night....or maybe I'll do two miles on the track to offset that darn quiche I had for dinner last night and breakfast this morning.:laugh :speechles -

I'm going out of town for Thanksgiving, so the 26th wouldn't work for me. If you ladies are flexible, any other weekend will work for me.

My surgeon was Dr. Fred Brody, 2150 Pennsylvania Ave NW, I think the cost was somewhere around 22,600. (insurance covered all but $50 hospital co-pay). I am to go to him for my fills, but I have yet to received one as I was just banded on 10/12.

Whew!!! TGIF's hot wings and mozarella sticks. **day dreaming** Ok ok back to my tuna salad Teresa please set up something. Thx

Maryland Banders Winter Challenge!!!

Carrie, you'll do just fine Friday. I have weigh-in tonight at TOPS, I've done well (excluding that darn bday cake and chocolate ice cream Sun.) if I say so myself. lol I just need to get back to basics and start my daily walks again. www.tops.org I went for the first time last Tues. Although we only weighed in, the people are geniunely pleasant, therefore I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it. -
Do you follow a specific diet (i.e. atkins, south beach) or do you eat whatever you want (per your band), but in smaller portions?

My 35lbs also include my pre-op liquid diet (I need all the help I can get, so I'm counting everything lol). I weighed in Tues. and to my surprise another 9 lbs. gone in one wk. I'm newly banded and I just got off my post-op liquid diet, so I'm pretty sure that's why I've lost the way I have. Hopefully I can continue this success.
