    August 22nd!

Oh so that's what restriction is! O_O So for the first 2 weeks I didn't have a problem with anything. Could take my vitamins, drink water, protein shakes (the ones that didn't taste nasty to me), soft foods, etc. Nothing made me sick or feel bad. Until now. . First a little egg got stuck and I had to throw up. Then, taking this calcium pill that's the size of my head had me bent over the trash can in my kitchen. I'm going to get chewable calcium first thing in the morning!

Not embarrassing at all. Yes, I had 3 the first week and 2 the second week. So far I haven't had any problems with that except the ones the first week hurt a little. This week has been fine except it is very little which is to be expected since I'm not eating much of anything.

    August 22nd!

You ladies are doing GREAT!! I don't own a scale so I will have to give my weight after getting my drain tube out tomorrow. Today was the first day I've felt ok. Just ok. Lol. I still have to take my pain meds but I didn't feel like death warmed over. I actually was able to straighten up a little and cook dinner for my family. Now I am going to lay back and relax. I have someone coming to the house to give me a pedicure at 5pm and I can't wait!! I soooo need this but can't get to the shop.

    surgery went well

I agree. Don't be shy on asking for pain meds. I had a pump and I hit that thing every 10 minutes unless I was sleeping. Lol. It's a little rough at first but I hope you have a speedy and quick recovery. I am getting my drain out tomorrow morning and I am praying that makes my recovery better.

    August 22nd!

I too am not getting all of my liquids in. . I am not sleeping well, and unless I take pain meds every 4 hours I can't stand the pain. I am hoping things get better Friday when this drainage tube comes out. I've never been a scale person so I don't even own one (and even after this surgery I have no desire to own one), so it will be interesting to see how much I've lost when I go to the Dr. Friday.
