i had h. pylori but had no symptoms..they found it on an egd i had done preop

i had surgery september 19th and yesterday i got the go ahead to start pureed foods. so far so good. this is my 3rd surgery. i had the band in 2008 and in 2010 was revised to the sleeve and now rny. i had horrible reflux and so far it is gone!

i weigh 150 lbs aand just had RNY for severe reflux...will have to see how it goes since it is early

well i had my revision on the 19th. the recovery was rough. i just went home today. the pain wasnt bad, but the nausea was. im trying to sip on some chicken broth as I type. i was starting to feel better today and so far nor reflux!

well i havent been on here for a while. i will be having my surgery next thursday. i can not wait for these eating problems and reflux to be gone!

cathy omg we sound like twins.....i did lose weight with the band...it was good for the first year. i have surgery scheduled for sept 19th....i never really wanted RNY but honestly i dont care anymore, i just want it fixed. the reflux is the worst thing ever.

cathy im the person vicki is talkin about. i was banded in 2008 and was revised to the sleeve in 2010 and i could never really eat more than soft foods and the reflux was horrible. in october they found that for some reason my sleeve was folded in half. in january i had a huge hiatal hernia repaired and they found i had scar tissue causing my sleeve to fold in half. they removed the scar tissue and my eating got a bit better but the reflux was still horrible. i jst had another scope done and they found i have a stricture in the middle of my sleeve. im having rny done in septemeber. i never really wanted rny but i want this all to end...enough is enough
