I recently lost my husband to suicide He had been sick for a long time and depression set in and no one could help I thought I could but i failed I am now a single parent to a 17 and 18 year 9girls) Things have been so hard but I know i have to take care of my self so i can be here for my girls I am relearning everything as far as the lapband goes I need a fill badly but can not get in to see the dr until July 8 Please pray for us Tammy

I have always had a great experience at Vandy Everyone is really nice and very helpful Tammy

Hello, I was wondering how well you have done since it has been almost a year since you were banded. Are you happy you had it done? How has life changed for you? Thank yoou for sharing. I have lost 80 lbs I have very happy I had it done and the best thing to me has been being able to be more active. Tammy

I highly recommend the lapband I was banded in December and have lost 50 lbs I choose the band because it is a safer method of weight loss your insides are not rerouted and you lose in a slower way way that why your body has more time to adjust you also do not have to take so much meds like you do with the bypass I take a Multivitamin and viactive daily. I had lapband in December 2006 They are a little slow getting started You have to keep calling and calling but once you get everything in motion they are GREAT Dr. Holzman is my dr and he and his staff are great Good luck Tammy

Hello my name is tammy and I was banded 12/13/05 I have lost 45 lbs so far but have hit a spot where i am not doing as well. I would like to know how others are doing. Do you excerise if so how often, what do you eat in a typical meal, how much Water do you drink? I really appreciate any help you cangive Thanks Tammy

I have not won the struggle yet I have kept cookies and such from my home But I have decided to take it one day at a time and do the best I can I really appreciate the words of advice. Tammy

I was banded 12/13/05 I am down 32 lbs. I have done great. Now I find myself eating Cookies without even thinking about it and making other foolish choices.. Can anyone offer any help on how to have better self control and not messed up one of the best things to ever happen to me? Tammy:cry
